print odd pages or even pages

I'm trying to make a booklet style report and would like Access to
print the odd numbered pages, and then I can put the paper back in the
printer and hopefully print the even numbered pages backwards on the
other side. Any way of printing like that?

Hey, folks... don't let the 'printing in reverse order' scare you. If
anyone knows how to pring just odd or just even pages I could sure use
that all by itself.

The only thing I can think of is to try using something like Clickbook.

Sounds like it might work John, but I've only got 3 or 4 pages to
print on the Access report. I noticed that MS Word will print
odd/even pages, but Access won't do it. Maybe export to an rtf file
then get it from word there. Too bad Access can't do that directly.

I was hoping someone had developed some code to get by this
shortcoming.

Get a better printer, they can do that now. (Big ones anyway) Or print each
page to a pdf file then use pdf viewer or word to print them.

Or you could try this -

make boxes to cover all report sections, change thier color to white
foreground and white back color. Then set them to Visible = false and not
transparent.

Now use some code to get the page number, if it's odd then make the boxes
visible (Just leaves a blank page, i use this to not print on used labels)
Just swap it around for the Even pages.

Check Printing Orientation
I have MS Money 2004. I use pre-printed checks 3 to a page with the stub at the left. They are all aligned so as to feed "Head first". In Money, it will print "Heads first" only if I am printing a full new sheet of checks. Many times I start with a portion of a sheet (one or two checks). When this is the case, Money changes the orientation to "left side" first and I have to click the radio button to tell it there are three on the page. This causes obvious problems if there are really less than three. How do I default it to "Heads first" no m...

Printing selected data
Hello, Using Excel 97, I have set up a spreadsheet that has about three pages of data. Columns A through D give item description. Columns E through J have been left blank so as to let other people enter the quantities they need. My problem is this: I need to be able to print out only rows that have quanitites entered in columns E through J. I don't want to print out the entire list of three pages. I have tried Advanced Filter, which works reasonably well, however other people with less computer skills will also be printing, so it must be made simple to use. Is there a macro, function, form...

Printing in booklet setup
I have a job that is sent to me in a booklet form. It shows the corners folded over on the pages along the bottom of publisher. I've tried in the past to use this mode to print a booklet but I've had no success. It always prints off letter pages of if I pick 11x17 sheet size, it reduces the size and just doesn't print it properly. The page size is 8.5 x 11 and I want to print onto 11 x 17 then fold. Your printer will determine where the fold will be. Look at your printer settings, it will say something like *Flip pages up* or there will be options about binding. If the pa...

Changing font size in a property page dialog template
I need to programatically change size of property page dialog. It would be nice if the reason was that I am trying to do something for visually impaired users, but no... I am dealing with some devices that lie about their screen resolution. I can do that reasonably easily for dialogs by overriding DoModal or Create and modifying (substituting a modified) template by changing font size there, but I am stumped by CPropertyPage. None of the "obvious" overrides are called. Anyone can help? The other way would be to re-scale everything at OnSize (maybe OnInitDialog), but this is clumsy...

How do I only show print area in excel?
I cant figure out how to only show the printable area in excel, and have all other cells greyed out? Can anybody help. poor barcode label printing
The quality of the output of my Cognitive Advantage LX has been declining steadily. I have cleaned the head with alcohol. I have two ideas I wanted to float to the newsgroup: 1. Is there a shelf life to the labels? That is, are they coated with something that degrades over time (I got a bunch of labels 3 or 4 years ago that I am still going through)? I don't recall output being so bad a year ago. I guess I could buy another roll of labels as an experiment (and hope that THEY haven't been sitting on a shelf forever). 2. A tech from Cognitive helped me adjust the darkness settin...

mailbox store is dead in an odd way
I think my volume ran out of space and the db corrupted itself. I tried repair and defrag, but I was only briefly able to log on and see a mailbox. I tried it again (using eseutil) but it had no further effect. So I created another private store on a different drive and moved the mailboxes over to it. Surprisingly there were no errors. I then dismounted the original (and I assume corrupt) store, but I still can't get OWA to connect to the server. Trying to connect to the server with MAPI gives unreliable results. Print Chart Across Multiple Pages
I have a 30K record engineering data that is plotted into a single chart, like the stripchart recorders of old. Kindle and Outline Printing

converting to CMYK to send to a printing co?
Don't have need of this yet, but came across it in making book covers. Publisher (2000) can convert it to CMYK which I've read is what printers want it to be.
