Hi, this should be simple but it's still giving me trouble. I have a
drop-down combobox that is referencing a table with two columns, like
The column count is 2 and the column widths are 0";1" but the drop-
down displays 0 and -1. I know that this is how Access stores yes/no,
but can't I get it to store 0 and 1 instead and display the words
instead of the numbers?

Are you saying you have a two-record table as the Row Source of the combo box?

I’ve created a columnar report – one record per page. It shows the values in
the various columns of my table, which is linked from Excel. Columns R and S
each contain a percentage; the two values for each record add up to 100%.
I've added a pie chart to the report, but how do I get the chart on each
record page to show the R and S values for that record adding up to 100%?

I have multiple headers in my access 2007 report. I have all of the
contents of the DETAIL section set to Yes for Can Grow and Can Shrink.
One of the fields in this section is a memo field- sometimes
containing a lot of text.
I've tried setting the Keep Together option to Yes for the DETAIL
section. This causes the first page of my report to have all of the
necessary headers, but no information. On the following page, all of
the contents (including the memo) appear and accurately wrap to the
next page when necessary.

User has a database probably created in Access 97. It was converted to
Access 2000 and client has just been reimaged to XP, so she now has Access

I have a supplier who updates his pricelist via several spreadsheets.
I want to create an interface so that I may access the appropriate
pricelist (workbook) by simply selecting the proper category from a
pulldown menu (list).
So basically, if I select "Piping" from the pulldown menu, it would
open "Piping.xls" either within my main workbook or by itself.
I have no macro experience so I was hoping I could do this without
using them... is this possible?

file. I upgraded to 2004 when buying a new computer and
imported the old file. When I request "Account List" from
the button or the "Accounts & Bills" menu, the program

I've made a simple report but with just the objects on the footer section.
12 lines each one with 13 objects, like an anual report. So far so good. It
shows me all the way i want. But i would like to add 8 lines more with
another 13 objects per line. The weird thing is that, it adds my first page
in blank. Completly in blank. Nothing. the 2nd page with the results and 3rd
page also good. But there's a first page in blank. Never saw that. Can anyone
hekp me please?

The report writer is in the Tools Group in security. How you grant access
depends on the version (10 or before with Standard or Advanced). But in
which ever security model, look for Tools, the report writer is under that.
Access is generally granted just like access to any other window.

I have a table of items with "value" "vat" and "total" Columns. I would
like to write a formulae to say
When value is less than 140.5 then change value to 85.5, vat to 14.96,
total to 100.46 Else no change.
so im guessings its something like:
If AX<140.5 then AX=85.5, BX=14.96, CX=100.46
Or i could just copy and paste the If Then statment down all the columns and
forget the increment. Hopefully you will see what im trying to do.
