Help Using APPEND Query


I'm looking to create a "LOG" table. This table will contain 4 fields;
1. SessionID - AutoNumber
2. DateTime - Text
3. User - Text
4. AccessLevel - Text

Very simple.

Purpose: I can eventually (6months or more from now) create a report to see 
if more staff/users/admin are accessing the system and what times they are 
accessing the system, am/pm etc.

I have created a public function which determines and returns the username
I have created a public function which determines and returns a string 
identifying their access level. "Student" "Staff" "Admin". - This table will 
be for log purposes only.

I need to have an append query which I can run, which will add the following 
to a new record in the table:

1. SessionID - AutoNumber - Automatically?
2. DateTime - Result from NOW Function
3. User - Result from my function ie "DAN"
4. AccessLevel - Result from my Access Level.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I have set up a simple database in excel, using barcodes (i found this easier to scan and lookup, than access) plus the people working with this will find it simple to use. I have however reached a giant full stop. Publisher documents do not print. Help!
I just set up a new computer with an HP Deskjet 5440 and Microsoft Publisher 2003. Documents print perfectly from every software package except Publisher. Publisher documents don't print at all, even after I reinstalled the printer drivers. The entire document or just the pictures? If it is just the pictures, click the advanced print settings button in the print dialogue, graphics and fonts tab. Be sure "Do not print any graphics" is checked. Running Access Query Returns Incorrect Number of Records
I am running some code which loops through and runs the queries in an Access Database. The count of the records is then stored in a Worksheet. For most of the queries, the figure stored in the Worksheet matches the number of records if you run the query in Access. But for certain queries, the count of the records does not match the number of records when the query is run in Access. I am having trouble with my database where my select queries are acting as update queries. If a user happens to accidentally or otherwise adjust the results provided by the query, it is updating the information on the table(s). Problem using a report from Access2003 to Access2007
I am trying to use a database created with Access 2003 in Access 2007 but have come up with a problem. The database contains a report which produces invoices for sales between two dates.
