Find feature does not work with HTML messages (Content-type: text/html)
I have Outlook 2000 SP-3 running under Windows ME. When using the Find
feature to locate all e-mails with a given word in the message, no items are
found if the e-mails are of "text/html" content-type. The Find feature
appears to work for any messages that have URLs embedded and are
"multipart/alternative" or "text/plain" content-type.

Folks, a user is setting up a form. She wants to have several combo
boxes and list boxes with between 75 and 300 (yes, 300 -- that's not a
typo!) possible values in the combo box or list box. Before she starts
work on this, she would like to know if there is a limit on the number
of possible values for a combo box or a multi-select list box.
Is there a limit? Is it defined by the number of characters in the
values box, or the number of actual values? What is the limit? Any help

I have an editable form for users where they can query by date, etc.
However, the next entry arrow allows them to advance beyond the result. For
example, if their query resulted in 1 of 4, they can still click to 5, 6, and
so on which only adds blank lines to the database table. How do I set this
to stop at the last entry of their original query?

something, enabling you to have forms automatically resize to fit the screen
resolution of the user. Is this correct, or am I wrong? If I am correct, how
do you use this feature?

I have checked the option to use form based authentication but I don't get
the web page login - still the pop up login box. I have restarted IIS. This
is all internal at the moment till i get the forms working. Any ideas.
Do you have "require SSL" checked on the Exchange (and Public) virtual
directories in IIS? Have you tried going to the https:// site manually?
Forms-based auth only works with SSL. If you haven't required SSL and you
go to the http page, it will still work just fine and will pop up the login

Using Data Migration Manager I have uploaded 68000+ notes to CRM 4. However
all notes show a creation date of 5/10/2008.

Can Access 2007 navigation be any more convoluted? I've been spending close

Got an odd situation. On record notes we have the paperclip and can attach
files with no problems. On window notes there is no paperclip. Never tried
to attach a document to a window note before but always assumed that both
record level and window level notes would act the same way. Has anyone else
seen this? Should we be able to attach documents to window level notes?

No - the behaviour you are seeing is by design. Window notes have never
allowed for OLE attachments.

property at design time to a SQLServer stored procedure that has one
parameter. If I set the Input Parameter property of the form at design time

I tried to add the list of files to a CStringArray and
then sort them. But it took a while to process some 1000
files. There must be a better way. Please advise.
Which sorting method have you used? qsort does 1000 sorting in several ms.
Anyway, if you want to get files in a date range, just check date before
adding to array, use CFileFind.

card site. I keep getting the message that the
transaction cannot be entered and it remains outstanding -
bolded. I tried the salvage processes - msmoney.exe -s
and salv.exe. Neither worked. I just want to delete this
one record and put it back manually. Is there a way to do
this with jet database functionality?
Not that is exposed to any of us users. The database is actually "msisam"--a
buttoned up derivative of Jet.

Yes, you can search for all items with attachments, but you cannot search
for a) specific attachments or b) attachment contents. To perform this
type of search, simply right click on any Outlook folder, choose Advanced
Find. In the Advance Find window, select Other Choices, then select "Only
items with: one or more attachments".

I have created a form by adding information from several differnt forms and
table as they areall getting input by several differnt people on the network.
the problem i am having is that i can not make this new form add records and

Why do you not want to use subforms? Unless you can join the tables in such
a way that the resultant query is updatable (usually a challenge), subforms
are the easiest approach.

Is there any way to add a record into the middle of a database without having
to add it at the end and then sort. I need to be able to manually add
records into the database, as though you would in excell, exactly where I
want it without having to use sort since not all of the data can/should be
sorted. Any thoughts?
Tables are unordered. If you need to Order records then you use a
query. You then need a way of defining that order.
A more specific description of your problem including descriptions of
the fields involved will get you a more specific answer.
