how to show if at least one match exists for a record
For a given part number (Part# table) there may be one or more Defect Records
(Defects table). On a form with the list of part numbers, a field will
highlight if at least one Defect record exists. This form needs to have some
controls that are editable.
In the query for the form, I referenced another query that will return a
value if at least one defect exists for the part number. Works great, but
using that method makes my main query un-editable.
The other method is to use a domain aggregate function on my form to
reference the Defect query, but this makes the form very sluggish.

I have many graphs - all plotting on similar scales but using different
data. Is there any way I can simply copy one set of data from one graph
and paste it into another graph so that I can avoind going through all
the hassle plotting each curve again? I want to have graphs showing
different combinations of the same data and have hundreds of curves to
plot so this could be a huge timesaver...

Yes. But Optionbuttons (aka Radio buttons) do this. Checkboxes are used
where this behavior is not desired.

I've added the checkboxes from the control tool box and
renamed them yes and no. How do I get it so when the box
is clicked on the check box appears in the choice.

I am trying to update one table that has one record for each employee(table
1) with available vacation time. The other table records every time off
request(table 2) and how much time they want off. I have the update query
and it works fine. The problem is that everytime it is ran every requested
time off amount(from table2) is subtracted from the available time(table1)
again and again. I want the records for requested time(table2) to update the
employee available time off(table1) only once, but keep the records on the
table as that is the basis for a report.

Presently the only way is to exit Excel and restart Excel - then pasted text

I am trying to setup Safe Pay. Everything seems to be working fine except
for one annoying quirk. Our bank's Positive Pay data format gives us 12
characters for check amounts ($$$$$$$$$$¢¢). The file that Safe Pay
generates is working perfectly except for those checks that are greater than
$9,999,999.99 (9 characters). If the check amount is greater than that (say
$10,000,000.00), the value that the Safe Pay file shows for that check is
002147483647. And, even if none of the individual checks exceed

I created 2 tables. 1 with the Master List of collectibles. The other with

I am creating an invoice where each product is totaled in an unbound
textbox call [LineTotal]. Here is the complicate part. The total is
based on certain conditions. I was able to do it just fine on the
form, but am having a hard time getting it to do it in the report.
First, if there is a discount I have to take that into effect. Second,
if there are multiple copies I give a 50% discount unless the hours
are 15 min (always $2.50) or 1 hour (always $10).
