Custom Forms - Outlook 2003
Some time ago I upgrade to Office 2003 Pro. All was working fine up until a
few days ago. I don't remeber installing anything recently.
Now when I try and create a new task based on a custom form it says the
"The messaging interface returned an unknown error. If the problem persists
restart Outlook". Needless to say I have restarted many times.
Upon further investigation it would appear that all of my custom forms are
not working. I read about the Cache problem in KB article

Can anyone give me directions on how to add the vendor's email address (from
the vendor internet information window) to the Purchase Order Other Form?
The vendor e-mail address is stored in SY01200 (Internet addresses). In that
case, it might not be possible to bring that on to the PO form. Try adding
the e-mail address in vendor maintenance Options window, user defined field
so that you can place the same in the PO modified report.

I need to define formats (i.e. bold, underline) for reference table fields.
For example, let’s say reference table A contains three fields: Field1,
Field2, Field3 and two rows.
Reference Table A
ID _Num Field1 Field2 Field3
1 Single Double Triple
2 Single Double Quadruple
Forms need to know that for row 1 Double will be in bold and Triple will be
underlined. However, for row 2, only Quadruple need to display in bold on
forms, reports, etc.

Hello I have a RiskDB with 1 form. I have 4 differnt people who have access
to this form and enter relevant data. I have used enable to allow them
access to the fields they can enter data into.
The author creates a new Risk on the Form. I then want the action owner to

I have a text box in the detail section of a form, whose control source is a
hidden combo-box that queries a table not included in the form's record
source. It queries that table using the primary key from the form's record
set which is linked to that table.
Requerying cboHidden requeries ALL instances of cboHidden, and then the text
box for ALL records updates to an identical value, I assume because
cboHidden refers to every instance of it on the form, not just the one
specific to that record. How do I change the behavior such that these behave
locally to that record?

I have a form set up in my DB that we fill out. I do have a button that will
print the report for this form set up, but now we would also like to have the
option to press a button and the report attaches itself to an email and we
can send it. I could set it up to just go to print preview and then we have
to go to the Acrobat tab, and select the "create and attach to email" but I
was hoping I could by-pass this step through code somehow. If anyone has any
ideas let me know!

I wanted the user to be able to click the button to run a proceedure.

We call the button "Update"
We can do this by creating an "event proceedure" for the form... like
run the proceedure when they go to the next form or whatever... but
wanted an actual button they would click.

I have some weird problem.
I have some form that appears as a login screen from function by using
autoexec macro. The problem is that this form does not appear in the
list of all forms in the Access itself. When I open the application
the form appears and I can use it but there is no way to find it in
the list of all forms to enter the design.
The only way to enter the design is run the app and than right click
the header of the form and choose design view.

My name is Joe and I'm starting to used Access. I have currently got a form
that displays 55 records. I need to fit all these on a singe page for
printing. currently the data only takes up half the page horizontally so i
was wondering if it is possible to have them list down one side of the page
and then continue down the other side. eg.

When we try to customize a form and save it, it hangs for awhile, then

No way to do this automatically, but you can do it control by control by
right clicking and selecting Add Variable or Add Event Handler. I mostly
use cut and paste these days and just add them manually. It doesn't take
much time if you use one for a template then just copy it.

I'm trying to write a workable formula in an unbound text in form design.
It's a monster formula.
Their are 4 components:
Each one of the answers for these 4 components must be checked , if greater
than 2.375 then set to 2.375 and if less than 0 then set to 0
and finally, all added together, multiplied by 100 and divided by 6

I am a single (home office) Outlook 2002 user on Windows XP Home Edition. I
want to be sure I'm backing up EVERYTHING I should be and have followed the
procedure outlined in the Microsoft document for backing up pst files. It
also says a Personal Address Book is stored on the hard drive and you "may"
have to backup that as well. Searching my hard drive for anythting with a

We have recently switched our back end to SQL server and since then any of
our search forms with calculations have slowed right down. I would like to
remove any calcuations when the form opens and add a command button that does
the calculations once the user has selected all of his criteria. Following

I've created a form using the drop-down date field. However, after saving and
restricting editing on the document, the form works when tabbing TO the date
field but after selecting a date, the "form" will not tab to the next field,
which happens to be a fill-in field: it will only tab to the next date field.
If the date fields are Date Picker content controls, what you are seeing is to be expected. You cannot Tab from a content control to a field in Word.

I'm currently working on transcribing a list of files we have archive
into an Excel spreadsheet. Before anybody asks I'm not using Acces
(which would be my first choice) because I'm the only one with i

all the Id# shhets are laid out the same way. The Excel Data Form displays
all the columns headings like it should.
What I am trying to do is create a data entry form that will place the
