Importing Outlook data into Access 2003I recently reinstalled Office 2003 and have encountered the following
problem: I want to import my contacts in Outlook into an Access 2003
database. When I go to File/Get External data, there is no option to
import from Outlook. In fact, the only choices I'm given are Microsoft
Access, Windows Sharepoint Services, XML and ODBC databases. How can I
enable the options I've had in past installations of Access?
Thanks in advance,

Hi LaTrice (LaTrice @discussions.microsoft.com),
in the newsgroups
you posted:
|| The file is saved in Publisher 2000 v6 and I am trying to open it

No. There is no such thing as Publisher 2000 v9, nor is there a version 9 of
Publisher, yet.
Verify the version of Publisher that you have, and also verify the version
of Publisher that you received the file from then post back.

forwarding in Exchange 2003 #2I configured the server (Exchange 2003) to forward a users emails to
test@xyz.com. It is very strange that all messages sent from xyz.com are
rejected (please see the sample NDR below), there is not problem to other
domains. test@xyz.com did not receive the message while the envelope
recipient (admin@abc.com) did.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Please be more explicit about what you're doing, what you're seeing, and
what error messages - if any - you are getting. I have FrontPage 2003
installed on Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and it's working fine.

Outlook does not automatically save Contacts ever. To what feature are you
referring? Autocompletion?

I have ensured that when the co-worker sends the task, that they do NOT

Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 Migration Question: No ADC??Hello all:
I have an environment where I need do do an Exch 5.5 to 2003 Migration.
The domain has already been migrated from NT4 to 2003. The only thing
is, is that there is no Active Directory Connector setup anywhere in
the environment. That leads me to my first question I guess. How is
this possible that Exch 5.5 is even working with AD?
In terms of upgrading, what would recommendations be? It is a single
Site. I was thinking about bringing up a new Exch 2003 server, and
using "Move Mailbox" to the new exch server. Replicate all the
necessary public folders, decomission the old ...
Deleted exchange 5.5 site not replicating over the ADC to Exchange 2000 sideWe are a part of a shared Exchange 5.5 organization but our site is
primarily Exchange 2000/2k3. We maintain a single 5.5 server as the
rest of the Org is 5.5. The problem we are seeing is when the folks
who control the Organization at the top level remove a site that is no
longer used, that deletion is not carrying over the CONFIG_CA agreement
to the Exchange 2000/AD side. Our Exchange 5.5 server executes the
deletion with no issue.
Any ideas on why this deletion is not replicating properly over the ADC
and throught the SRS database? In the past we have manually removed
the sites/recipie...

Need help getting this code to compile under VS.NET 2003 (compiles under VS6.0).I'm tasked with converting a LARGE project from VS6.0 to VS.NET 2003. Here
is a VERY scaled down version of an error I'm getting. I must be getting

If you need to compile this, just create a Win32 console app and specify to
add support for MFC, then copy this code into the cpp file and press
compile.

virtual BOOL CheckConflict(CLogItem* pItem) const;

making an equation in accessHi, I would like to create a field that works out a formula based on other
fields. i.e field z=field4, when field 1<field 2 - field 3 etc. Yes, it may
be a silly question but I am only new to this....Thanks, Dani.
Dani,
recommend against creating a "field" in a table and storing this value. One
of the generally accepted rules of relational database development is not to
store a "computed" (any value that is based on the value of other fields in
your database) value in the table. It is a waste of database space, and will
eventually result in bad data (...

Mounting exchange 2000 public folder store on exchange 2003I have been told that this is not best practice we have gone ahead and done
this we where having a great deal of difficulty getting the public folders to
replicate. The public folder mail box was incorrectly named I used ADSIedit
to change the mail box name in AD but this didn't work.
So in the end we went for a dirty fix (users had lost access to public
folders for one day already) and dismounted then copied the exchange 2000
public databases to the 2003 box and mounted them there with apparent success.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Can I expect this
