Hello friends, our firm is in the process of migrating to exchange 2003 from
exchange 5.5. I would like test the migration process in a lab environment
before the implementation. I have set up a test box that is running Windows
2003 Active Directory and Exchange 2003 Enterprise server on our network.
Now if I try to import users and data from our current Exchange 5.5
production server to the test server would that cause any problems, or mess
up my exchange 5.5 server? Please advise.
As long as the lab org isnt part of the production org.

I am trying to find a White Paper or Document which can be
used as a template for a Test Plan for migrating to

...Test Cluster Node
Given a computer name, how to test it if it a cluster node or not? without
calling WMI MSCluster with $null return? Are there any classes with a
property of IsClustered?
Only WMI classes i can find that relate to clustering are listed here -
but I think you are aware of these. Is there a Registry key that defines a
server as a cluster member?
All scripts are supplied "as is" and with no warranty
Blog: http://richardsiddaway.sp...Test Environment Setup Questions
Our test environment has a separate dedicated GP 9.0 and SQL Server 2005
servers. The GP server has a successful ODBC connection to SQL.
During the install, we designate a local partition for the GP system
database files, and when running GP Utilities for a new company, we also
designate a local location as well.
What's odd is that afterwards, the new files are located on the SQL server's
default database file location. If this is the case, why would we even need
specify a location at all? Kinda odd.

There are so many people having problems with MS Money 2005 it makes you
wonder if they even stopped to run this "product" through beta testing....oh,
wait I forgot.....we are the beta test :-(

IMHO the program was "chisled in stone" when the testers received it ;I did
receive a call from one of the program managers,a "first" after years of
"testing" ,hopefully some improvements will be made to the program next year

It depends on what you are trying to prove. If you reckon that the subject
is likely to be over (or under) the average then that is your hypothesis and
you will go for a one tail test. At 95% confidence level that means that the
subject will only be less than that in 1 out of twenty times. The 5% must all ...test
...Test POP account 'cannot connect'
A few workstations with Outlook 2003 fail the first step of the "Test
account settings" test, saying they can't connect to the internet. The
POP accounts work anyway, but the failing test indicates something I
want to fix.
(The problem might be the same thing that's preventing the Quickbooks
integration from working. That is a real problem, so I want to find a
fix for the 'test' error even though it doesn't effect the operation of

Can I remove or hide the "ISV/Test/Both" information buttons so these are
not displayed to the users (it is annoying and the purpose of these buttons
is not clear even when considering using an ISV (we don't have an ISV
software at the moment).
The server is very unstable for components other than the basic customizations
so any solution of customization will be better than changing ISV.config (I

...Need to test a mobo
I had a power surge about 3 weeks ago - lost a drive, now making
ticking noises. I had another two drive that seem to work
sporadically now. So, I thought it might have been my power supply.
Bought a tester and found out that all seems well. Next, I bought a
new hard drive and found that it was also acting up - making noises
like whirring up and down (like the other drives I thought were
dead). So I am starting to wonder if it is my mobo - but how can I
test this out?
I am using a dual boot - Win XP and Win 7 - both drives work and don't
work. Up and down. Right now my Win7 ...Test Enviroment for GP10 Upgrade
I am planning an upgrade to GP10 and need to set up a test environment for
the upgrade. After I successfully test the upgrade in the test environment I

It would really help me out if I could create the test enviroment in a
virtual machine using the new Hyper-V technology. Does anyone out there have
any experience or thoughts regarding this approach/
