MDBdata folder problem
I came in this morning and the Exchange 2000 server would not start. I
noticed that the MDBdata folder contained 50gig of data, so I deleted all
the .log files that started with E and restarted the Exchange server.
Everything seems to be working fine. I then read in this newsgroup that it
is a bad idea to delete those files manually.
I have two questions:
1. Will I run into problems now that I have deleted those files manually?
2. a 5 meg log file is created every 2 minutes. Is there a way I can
reduce the frequency of these log files?

Seems like there would be a simple way to reference a cell and any
formatting it has. For example, A1=5 and the 5 is underlined and in
red. The entry in A2 is =A1 and I want A2 to show not only the 5 but
I also want it to preserve and show the same formatting that was

free up space. I think it was for Windows 2000 Server. Is it possible to do
this for Windows 2003 server?

I have loaded Office Prof 2007 Plus and am using Access. there is a new
feature, "Tabbed Documents". I do not see them, when I open several Tables,
Queries, etc, they are just one on top of another. You can Cascade them, but
there are NO tabs along the top.
I have called MS and even tried the website. Could I be missing an update?,
but I would have though the package should have this feature already

I'm experimenting with Exchange server 2003 in a lab environment. I've got
one user set up
and able to access his mailbox. I then created a second user on the server.

to move mailboxes between 2 servers in the same site? Providing the
administrator an admin role on the Servers container, on each server, or on
the Private/Public Information Store gives him undesired privileges (like
changing default storage limits).

hand typing) time getting my .mrg data doc to merge with Excel. Most times
Exel will have all the data in one cell (making it impossible to sort), or
not come through at all.

When we open up a shared workbook and enter data into it. Everything works
fine but once you save it the original still contains the information but in
the folder on the network drive that the original is located a new file is
created. This new file is the same size as the original document. It didn't

I had someone do this for me. This is an Excel file with 4 worksheets. The
two pertinent ones are called 'Schedule' and 'Version'. When save the file
it updates the version of the file with a date/time stamp on the 'Version'
worksheet like this.

Hi - I am using Word 2007 which is part of Office 2007 Professional. I had
been using Office 2007 Pro on XP SP3. When I wanted to print a document, I
had the option of printing it as an image (.tif) in the printer options.
Please note that this option was in the printer options and not in the Word
2007 printing options.
I am now using Windows 7 Professional (32 bit), and I no longer have the
'print as .tif' option in Word 2007.
Question: I do I enable this option?
