I am unable to open some previously saved Word documents: the error is
There is a problem opening this file. I though this download would solve the

Time Between Exchange Server Patching, and Workstation Patching?
We ran the timezone update patch (931836) on our Exchange Servers about a month ago, and then just patched our workstations on 3/4/07. Does this mean i will see a lot of problems when i run the Exchange Tool tonight 3/5/07? Also i have ran it against my own mailbox and it did not change anything. Has anyone Ran the tool, and had it not move anything, and know why this might be happening? Well, if the workstation already has KB 931836 Feb. 2007 cumulative time zone update, you shouldn't see anything change if appointments are rebased correctly. The discrepancy (appointments off b...

Deployment Package checking to see if file exists
Hi i wonder if someone can help me. Im creating a deployment package for my program. On install i want to check to see if config.xml in my application folder exists if it does then dont overite it. How can i configure the deployment package to do that? Im using visual studio 2005 In VS setups you can't. You can search for a file (in the Launch Conditions view), but that happens before the install, and you don't know what the application folder is until after the user has chosen a folder. Anyway, what will you do if the user chooses a different install location? There wo...

Unread public folder patch (KB836686)
I had previously installed the update mentioned here: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=836686 to resolve the bogus unread count for public folders in E2k3. It worked great - then I installed SP1 for E2k3 and the problem resurfaced. I checked the KB article and noted that the "Applies to" section now notes SP1 so I called them up and got the update again. When I try to apply it though it tells me that it's not valid for the service pack I'm running and exits itself. Has anyone managed to get this patch to install on E2k3 SP1? Any idea why Microsoft didn't include...

IS patches
Goodmorning and a happy New Year. Is anybody familiar with an Information Store which crashes several times a day, probably by using more and more Outlook2003 clients in combination with an Exchange Server 5.5 SP4 Ent. Edition. My question is, there are three patches, the one named in Q282533 (which is only available from Microsoft directly, you have to call them), another one in "Exchange 5.5 Information Store Patch 2657.74 of 10/14/2003" or "2658.25 dated november 5, 2004". Question: which one do I have install first? Thanks. John You'll want that lates...

When I try to import the package on another computer, I get "OleObjectBlob" and "Unknown COM" errors referrring to my user form I created. If anyone knows how to get around these errors, please let me know thanks, Lorraine It would be good to know what versions of GP are you running both in your dev environment and the environment you are trying to import the package into.
