I want to change the slides direction in my powerpoint file from left to

How can I do that? Please help!
What do you mean by 'the whole slide'? Surely only text is significant? Or
am I having a blonde moment?

I am following on from an older post
I have used Jon Peltier's page http://peltiertech.com/Excel/XL_PPT.html#chartppt
to try and create a macro that will open a new PPT, copy all th

My problems are:
1) The macro only seems to work if PPT is already running (despite
using Jon's code for creating a New PPT object)
2) The bitmap solution is ok when on screen but I get people asking if

I created a lengthy complex presentation in PowerPoint 2007 using a stock
background. After creating it and showing it to the company, the Execs want
me to change the background to the company standard. The problem is, they
only have a basic blank PowerPoint presentation that everyone uses to build
from. How do I get the background elements from the standard presentation
into main without redoing all 45 slides?

I have made a 25"x25 " banner. I want to add a grid that will display on the
banner when i print it. I put a 25 x 25 cell table on it, and I can make it
fit horizontally but I can't compress it vertically. How can I do that?
Atlernatively, is there a better way to put a grid on the banner? I have a
picture underneath that I want to show through the grid.
Change the internal margin of the cells to 0 for top and bottom. You may
need to change the font size to something like 2 point (or as small as you
can go) also.

It is simpler to create a stacked column chart using all the data and
then select and change the appropriate data series to be a line chart.
The you can then format the line series to use the secondary axis.

Here is a scenario my boss wants to have set up in his office:
His view is to have a room full of thinkers (sitting at the conference
table) with the presentation up on a 32" flat panel display as well as on his
and one other persons PC monitors, then the collaboration begins with his
room full of thinkers making suggestions on the slides while the boss and/or
the other person make the modifications from their PC's.
Is this possible? I'm not sure a KVM type of switch would work in this type

How do I fix the pointer and move the text box relative to this position. We
used to be able to do it i nprevious versions but thsi very useful function

I'm not sure of any way to do that. I think in 2003 it depended on which
part of the callout box you grabbed to move it (i.e. the very edge or the
middle) whether on not the line coming from it stayed anchored or moved, but
that doesn't seem to work in 2007. Perhaps someone else knows of a trick?

...Text distortion issues in PowerPoint
I am having some text distortion issues in PowerPoint 2003. I think it may
be a conversion issue - i.e., a 2007 template was applied to report created
in 2003 and now some of the text is distorted. And interestingly, it's only

distorted and other times the numbers are distorted. It prints fine and
looks fine in normal view. Are there any fixes for this?

The chart must be shrinking in PowerPoint, so the charting engine wants
to use fewer axis ticks. If you've specified a maximum but no minimum,
it will use your maximum and run out where it needs to. If you'd
specified no maximum, it would do 0 to 8xxx by 2xxx. If you specify all
axis parameters, they will not change. Doub...Powerpoint and Publisher
How can I insert a powerpoint presantation into a publisher web page and

HAVE A GREAT DAY
You need to save the PPT file as a web site in PP and then upload that PP
web site to your server. And then have a link on your Publisher web site
that points to the PP web site home page.
Now as far as if PP will retain animations after being converted to a web
site that would be a question for the PP Forum.
