Not sure if Excel can do what i need
I am obviously a new user to excel. I have a psychological assessmen
that needs to be computerised for ease of use in obtaining results.
Here is what i would like to happen. I have 28 questions with fiv
Likert scale options(0-4) for answers. Each question addresses 1 of
different personality traits. So questions 1, 6, 8, 22 look at anger.
Where as questions 2, 9, 28 look at happiness. What i would like is fo
excel to group the answers and give me the total number for each trait.
Then based on that number, give out a prewritten (which i would provide
result of the assessment.

I've always enjoyed the simplicity (and non-bloatness) of the simple Windows
fax system that started back in Win95 and Windows Messaging days (or was it
even earlier than that?). Nothing realy fancy, but easy to teach anyone to
fax who knew how to e-mail. And the added benefit of storing all faxes
within an Outlook folder.
But no more. It's gone with Outlook 2003 and Windows XP. No more fax sharing
using a folder for the share either. No more fax/mail within Outlook. Or is
it gone? Does anyone know a simple way to fax within Outlook 2003 and
Windows XP? Appreciated.

I've got a spreadsheet that comprises about ten worksheets. The spreadsheet
allows for about five different scenarios to be reviewed.
At the moment to change scenarios, I have to change a cell in a particular
But what I want to be able to do is have a small window (that always stays
on top of the open worksheet) where I can switch scenarios by changing the
number in that window. That way I can see the data in the worksheet change.

ticking noises. I had another two drive that seem to work
sporadically now. So, I thought it might have been my power supply.

I upgraded my HP laptop from Vista to W7. Now Outlook 2007 keeps freezing
and has to be killed off using Task Manager. In addition I cannot close down
Windows if I am connected to the network. I can restart in safe mode, or if
I unplug the network cable but if I am plugged in, it gets to shutting down
and hangs. Have left it for an hour or so but nothing seems to help.

I have an Excel worksheet which stored a survey outcome of over 1200
members. There are over 30 questions in the survey and the first column
captured the member ID. The problem is 3 of the survey questions that allow
multiple answers, instead the answer for those three questions are captured
in seperate column, the answers are stored in a single column and it makes
it very difficult to analysis those result. As a result I created
addittional columns depending on the total number of the answers available
for that question and assign the result manually to that column. It is very
