Disabing unwanted Office2007 updates in Windows update

Office 2007 was "half" pre-installed on a Laptop I own. (Asking you to
register/purchase when you attempt to use or open any file with a registered
office extension). I uninstalled the product and spent hours cleaning up the
registry as best I could removing remnants the uninstall left behind.

The Laptop is fine now but every couple of days or so, The Windows update
software asks me to install "recommended" updates to Office2007. I say "No"
so not to revert to the undesired delivered behavior, not waste disk space,
etc.

Is there a way to turn off update notifications for Office 2007 and still
receive the updates that are important to me?

If MSUpdate is suggesting 2007 updates then obviously you failed to remove
it completely.
Assuming it was a Trial version did you also uninstall the Activation
Assistant?

Do you have MSO2003 w/2007 Compatibility Pack? If so, that may be what
is trying to update. It seems that most MSO2007 updates also update the
2007CP.

Automatic Online Updates?
I guess I have two questions. First of all, I'm new to money and I went ahead and hooked up my checking account to it and it seemed to work fine (in essential mode). But then after reading some, I decided to change my account to "Advanced" because I wanted to be able to split up transactions to fit my budget categories. Now I can't figure out how to get it to connect (do I have to start all over?) And also, do I have to use "Advanced" account register to categorize transactions and be able to split the transaction up? Thanks in advance for any help You can ...

KB951847 update failures for .NET Framework Family Ver 2
My issue started about a month ago when the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86 security update failed. I had ver. 1, 1.1, 2, 3 and 3.5 installed. I followed the info in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100 but when I attempted to reinstall the versions I previously had I couldn't get past Ver. 1.1 SP1. Ver. 2 I then found http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/thread/466a006f-ab47-4bba-a625-b221681c77b8/ Which allowed the install of Ver.2 but not the SPs nor Ver 3 or 3.5 the ones my software ...

select and update multiple records at the same time
I am working on an Access 2007 front end to an SQL 2005 database. Each record has a binary (check box) to be checked once the work required on the record is performed. How would I allow someone on the datasheet view to select all the records and check them all automatically? How about a range (from x to y records were done)? I suppose I could put a button on the form view (not the datasheet) to mark all as complete, but they would have difficulty verifying it was done. stock updates #2
Hi, I have a strange problem. I use Money 2003 with Windows XP and I used to be able to update my portfolio prices online. But now, when I click on update prices, the only option it gives me is to update prices manually. The last time it updated online was 9/14. Any suggestions? At the bottom when I click on internet updates and customize updates, there is a place for quotes and exchange rates, but it will not let me check that box, it's grayed out. Thanks M03 Standard? I'm using Money 2006 stand alone without passport.net. I want to permanently disable the Quotes, News and other information category. If I uncheck the box, it always comes back the next time when I update. I want to uncheck the box and keep it unchecked so as to move forward with only the Account Transactions in a timely manner. Is there a place where I can make this permanent change? Reflection problem when changing parent window

In this class, I have a method to deal with the selection change event: ON_NOTIFY_REFLECT(TVN_SELCHANGED, OnTvnSelchanged) At a certain moment, I instantiate an object like this: m_pTree = new CMyTreeCtrl(); m_pTree->Create(TVS_HASBUTTONS | TVS_HASLINES | TVS_LINESATROOT | TVS_EDITLABELS | TVS_SHOWSELALWAYS | WS_BORDER | WS_CHILD | WS_TABSTOP | WS_VISIBLE, CRect(0, 0, 100, 100), this, IDC_TM_FOLDER_TREE); where "this" is a WS_CHILD window as well. unwanted font changes
I have a co-worker using Excel 97 SR-2. When she opens up a spreadsheet, the font will change from Arial to any other font available on her system. She has to highlight the worksheet and change the font back. The Style default is set for Arial. Can you tell me how to stop this from happening? Bug: automatic resizing of inserted image creates unwanted black l
Hi, Im running word 2007 on windows 7 ultimate. When an image is inserted into a document and is larger than the current page it is automatically reduced in size to fit the page (unless u changed the default settings). Save the document, close it, reopen it and there will be unwanted black lines on the top and left hand edge of the image (like a black border on those sides). I think it is the auto resizing that causes it. This must have been mentioned on this discussion group before, I just cant find it. If you search google there are a bunch of people with the same...

Recipient Update Service #11
We have a Windows 2000 domain which has 2 domain controllers each of them is a global catalog and there is 1 Exchange 2000 server. protecting data when updating/importing
I have text files that are updated every day via a mobile link (SIM card).
