Cannot play some WMA files in WMP12

Most of my music plays fine, but some of the WMA's i have that were ripped 
with a previous version of WMP will not play in WMP12 and also WMP cant read 
the tags in the file properly.

The ASF/WMA metadata support hasn't changed much/at all.  If WMP can't read 
the tags, the files may be broken.  Do you have a sample file to look at? 
Have you used ASFView to inspect it?

sound files
When a new mail message arrives in Outlook the slected notification wav file does not play. All I hear is a beep from the system speaker. The file plays through the sound card just fine when I go through control panel or select it from explorer. The same thing happens when I connect a USB device. Deleted MDB file
I use an SD card as means of transporting my mdb file between work and home. have a windows xp directory and in which hundereds of excel fil resides. Write XML to object not a file
Still new to .Net so bare with me. Working on a client/server app. But I'm trying to build an XML file on the fly (without writing to a file) using data from my application. This info includes IP address, Port, GUID, etc. I can write to a file with no problem. Not playing some files
I have Vista Home Premium with SP 2 installed WMP is Version 11.0.6002.18111 My player will play some files but not others. The files are either mp3, wma or wav. but the player will play some of the group but not others of the same group. It doesn't seem to distinguish. DVD plays backround music but doesn't play voice or effects

I have made a workgroup-template for a complaint form. Several people will use this form and save it on the intranet. When sending out customer orders I today include an invoice and a packing list printed from MS-Access. However, I would like to add various information to the customer, such as technical information, promotions etc. These extra informations would be defined on each order, so what I am after is how to include these text fragments in the report print-out. Dead Email (.pst) file?

I am trying to import a text file into an Excel XP worksheet, every time I attempt this I get the error 'The file may be read only or I may be trying to access a read only location'. MP11 ripping CD only plays WAV
Help! This has got to be something simple. I'm new to MP11 on Vista. Can play CD's thru MP11 fine. Ripping CD appears to complete OK, but playback from Library only works with WAV rips. Tried the WMV's and MP3. Any other format seems to lockup MP11 playback and nothing (even the WAV's) playback. Fixes upon restart of MP11. I have just installed Office 2010 but have retained Office 2000. All my Excel 2000 files now open with Excel 2010. I've tried going into File Types and selecting the Excel 200 executable as the file to open XLS files, but they still open with Excel 2010. How can I return the default program for opening XLS files to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.exe instead of using C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\Excel.exe?
