WinCE6.0 Suspend problem
Hi All,
When we are testing the suspend functionality in wince the following
error is shown in hyper terminal:
ERROR: Power Handler function yield to low priority thread.
How to solve this issue?
By searching the forums we got the information as 'don't use blocking calls
in power handler functions'. We verified the code in device drivers which
uses the power handler functions and disable the code to isolate the
problem,but still it's showing the same problem.
Any thing we need to do in PB to avoid this problem?

During suspend, the Kernel enters in to the single threaded mode. Thank you!!! As you said we verify the code in all our BSP device drivers which uses the XXX_PowerDown() and XXX_PowerUp() functions and commented the code. More precisely the functions are not calling WaitforSingleObject() function. Please anything else we need to do to solve this issue? if you are trying to mount the NAND Flash during the suspend operation, it may create this issue. Thank you!!! NAND Flash is mounted and we can able to perform operations like demount and format it and mount the disk again. Not only the stream interface driver can cause this issue, but also GWES host drivers, display, touch and keyboard. If I were you, I will start from a minimum kernel with minimum or no drivers (you can use ddi_nop to replace regular display driver) to set a base line, and then try to add drivers one by one to locate the driver. Only a limited API can be used in power handler, please refer to MSDN's XXX_PowerDown for detail http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee483450.aspx Besides to use APIs in power handler, page fault can be another problem. Some of the drivers are activated with DEVFLAGS_LOADLIBRARY (0x00000002) flag, it is especially common on BSP designed for non-XIP Flash (NAND) and limited memory so the OS kernel may free up the pages use by the driver to reduce the memory load. But during the Power Handler, and page fault is not allowed, so in general, if your driver exports XXX_PowerUp/Down, then don't load it with DEVFLAGS_LOADLIBRARY. Hi to all! I have a problem in Outlook 2000 professional installed in Windows 98 SE computer. When I add the Exchange mailbox I got an error The Name Could Not Be Resolved. The Operation Failed. Hi everyone. I've recently implemented Time & Attendance in Great Plains 7.5 on SQL and now I'm setting up the Business Portal so that our employees can submit their time electronically. Flickering problem
Just recently I have started getting a problem where the Publisher page flickers annoyingly for varying lengths of time. Sometimes this continues for a long time and is not resolved by shutting down Publisher and reopening the file. It seems to be related to the number of pictures on the page I am viewing. Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to write a macro that will select an entire worksheet (in Book1), open a new workbook (Book2) and paste what I've copied. The problem is, there is a chart object on the worksheet that reads from 2 columns in the worksheet. When pasted in Book2, this chart still references the data from Book1. DN different from O/R address problem
Hey all, I have a situation in which I have an Exchange server getting mail from an external, non-exchnage x.400-88 MTA which is configured to send a journal message to a user. In the situation the DN and x.400-88 O/R cn and s fields do not match. I think that the x.400 O/R address should take precedence over the DN but I cannot find proof of that, that is to say that the mail should get delivered to the x.400 O/R addressee regeardless of the DN/x.400 O/R mis-match. defragmenting problems on exchange 2000
I recently created a second mailstore on a new raid 5 drive. Moved the user mailboxes into the new store. Exchange seems to be working fine, but I want to perform an offline defrag of the mail store. I dismounted the store and ran the eseutil.exe program. After about 1404 second, I get a message there is not enough disk space to performa the defragmentation and stops. The raid 5 is 27 Gbs. and the Store edb file is around 6.5 Gbs and the stm file is under 500 Mbs. More than enough space to perform the defrag. I tried rebooting the server and still run into the same problem. I thought t...

I am trying to create a chart from a series that contains data for each month. The series is calculated on other worksheets and copied to the worksheet containing the chart. I would like to have the cells for the months that have not been updated yet (now is January, there are 0' in all cells for Feb-Dec) to be blank (to create gaps in the chart) not 0's. Hi to all! I have a problem in Outlook 2000 professional installed in Windows 98 SE computer. When I add the Exchange mailbox I got an error The Name Could Not Be Resolved. The Operation Failed. Hi everyone. I've recently implemented Time & Attendance in Great Plains 7.5 on SQL and now I'm setting up the Business Portal so that our employees can submit their time electronically. Flickering problem
Just recently I have started getting a problem where the Publisher page flickers annoyingly for varying lengths of time. Sometimes this continues for a long time and is not resolved by shutting down Publisher and reopening the file. It seems to be related to the number of pictures on the page I am viewing. Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to write a macro that will select an entire worksheet (in Book1), open a new workbook (Book2) and paste what I've copied. The problem is, there is a chart object on the worksheet that reads from 2 columns in the worksheet. When pasted in Book2, this chart still references the data from Book1.
