Outlook Business Contact Manager a Dead End?
I'm wondering if I should factor this program into deciding whether or not I
should buy the MDA if it will not be continued in the future.
Does anyone out there use this program? Support for it seems to be minimal.
Thanks for your help.
I'll also post this to the Outlook.Contacts forum - thnx
try outlook.bcm. And yes, there is a 2007 version.

| I'm ...searching for Contacts OL2007
I am using OL2007 and have several microsoft exchange mailboxes in my
profile. when using the search function. OL seems to search only my personal.
default mailbox and the contact lists contained there. How can I search all
contact lists I have access to in all fields incl. the "Notes" field?
Thanks for your assistance,
I have a client considering Purchase of Windows 2003 SBE.
They currently use ACT 6.0 for a contact database. I
would like to change them over to MS-Outlook , but would
like to know if there is a limit to the number of contact
that Outlook will accept.
None that I know of. I have done an import of ACT contacts in excess of
5000 with no problems.
I would recommend exporting them from ACT, importing into Access to clean
up the code fields (like +1 that always gets included with ACT), then import
the Access into Outlook.

You don't download it (far as I know). Should have been on a CD with
the Office 2003 package you purchased. Recheck your CD's.
Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I have since changed my password in case the account is hacked.

...Outlook Client Is Losing Connection To Microsoft CRM While Online
Hi. I have Rollup 2 installed on both the Outlook Client and the server.
On my laptop, I am running Win XP Pro with SP 2 and all the updates applied
and Outlook 2003 with all the updates applied.
I am noticing that I seem to be losing the connection to Microsoft CRM from
the Outlook Client. Right after I boot my laptop I am able to access to
Microsoft CRM from the Outlook Client for between 4 hours to a day. After
that if I click on the Accounts, Contacts or Leads folders nothing seems to

Hi - hope someone can help!
I recently installed Windows 7 & used the MS transfer program to restore my
old programs. Since then, I've been unable to use the address book in Outlook

address book', Contacts is shown as the address book, but the option to "Show
this folder as an email Address Book" is greyed out (an is not ticked)

Using SBS2003, I'm looking for a way to move contacts from a private to a
public folder, and some references say it can't be done. That's hard to
believe though, and it would be bad news for the user who just spent a few
days entering contacts into a private folder.
I tried sharing the private folders, but she created several private contact
folders, but after setting share permissions on all of them only the
original contact folder is visible to the other users.
I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I am having trouble with Microsoft Outlook contacts. When I enter a new
contact into the Full Name Field, outlook thinks the last name is the first
name and the first name is the last name. I tried fixing the issue in the
options in outlook but had no luck.
A few questions:
- are you using a US version of Outlook?
- are you entering the contacts without any punctuation?
- are you using just the standard Outlook forms?
