Not able to read email unless I click on a link?

Every time I open an email, I can't see the message, I have to open an HTML 
or .txt attachment to see the email. Any ideas why this is happening? I have 
a screen shot,

These steps were written for the same issue in Outlook Express, but they 
might also apply to Windows Live Mail

If you haven't already done it, shutdown and restart Windows.  This 
sometimes fixes the problem.
 - If you still have a problem then try Start, Run and enter:
   regsvr32   inetcomm.dll
 - If that doesn't help, then see if the fix in this article applies:
   OLEXP: Message Appears Blank and Has an ATT000XX.txt or ATT000XX.htm

 - If that doesn't help, then in Internet Explorer, select View, 
Encoding and uncheck Auto-Select and choose instead "Western European 
(ISO)".  Then try reading your messages.

Options, Read and uncheck Read All Messages in Plain Text.  For a quick 
workaround for the current message, press ALT+Shift+H

None of those steps should screw anything up on your PC.  Let us know if 
any of them help.

Thanks Michael, I did all of that, and it still isn't working properly. Ugh! 
I might try to delete the program all together and re-install.

That probably won't help.  Is one of the two attachments a PGP signature? 
If so then the person sending you the email is using PGP/Mime encoding and 
WLM doesn't properly handle that.  This has been a problem with OE and 
Microsoft Mail as well.  The only solution you will have is to ask the 
person to not use PGP or GnuPG to sign his emails.

Properly?   What did the  Alt+Shift+H  *workaround*  do?
If that lets you switch between plain text mode and HTML mode
you just need to stop viewing all messages in plain text mode.

Linked Excel Table, Update Table
Using Access 2002. I import an Excel table into my database that is regularly updated from my company's main database via a BusinessObjects query. When I delete an email that was not opened from my inbox it goes to the deleted items folder. When I delete an email that I read it permanently deletes the email without going to the deleted folder just as if I held down the shift key when deleting. I cannot find a switch to turn this on or off. Check your View settings. Make sure it is set to show all Messages. I was able to use CL.exe to compile and link .cpp or .c file in a command line. Hi. Can someone please tell me how I can set up emailing function in Excel? I use Excel 97 and Win XP. I used to be able to go to File, then Send To, then Mail Recipient and it would open up my "New Mail" window from the email client that I use which is IncrediMail and it would automatically attach my spreadsheet for mailing. winxp not able to join domain
hi! recently, i've some issues in a small grp of clients about 5% of the total 1000 PCs. We're not able to join these PCs into our win2003 domain. I've to rename the PCs before i can join to the domain. I've checked in the AD, the computer name is not there and all the dns, gateway and etc are correct. When printing emails my name appears at the top
When I print an email, my name appears in large letters at the top of the print. Does anyone know where this name comes from and how I can stop it appearing? I am working with a client who insists the following happens to him on a regular basis: Workbook A and Workbook B have named ranges with the same names. HTML Emails and Workflow
I need to be able to send an HTML email using a workflow rule. I've been told it can be done (The help files), but whenever I do it - it loses all formatting. Hi all, I want to be able to send out shipment confirmation emails at the end of the day, based on a query that populates with the records that meet some specified criteria. Not able to modify another users shared tasks with owner permissio
Some of the users here have started using tasks and they have shared their tasks. Here is the senario. User A has some tasks and has given User B owner access to their tasks list.
