But I cannot be doing that on all my *.csv file there are thousands of them. This happsns on all *.csv files. Forums Package
We have a business group that would like to move off a really bad web based forums package on to the public folders but the department head has one requirement. He would like to see a "Dashboard" or some page in the root that shows all sub folders (or forums) how many unread posts and how was the last poster and stuff like that? Has anyone made extentions to make the public folder look and act more like web based forums? Oh and better group notification of new posts would be a nice to have as well. Thanks for the help. BTW: I think public folder are fine the way they are. ...

not printing tabloid correctly
Publisher XP lexmark optra 1200 PS drivers open a new publisher file, change the layout to tabloid, it appears correctly in design view as tabloid. However, when you go to print preview, it cuts to letter (cutting off everything that doesnt fit - it doesnt do multiple pages)..if printed, it just prints to letter - not multiple - justone cutoff job. If I make a new document in WORD XP - it prints on tabloid fine. The publisher setting for the lexmark are all changed to tabloid, 11x17 etc. Just publisher drops it to letter during the print. any ideas? thanks A small child turns to Ed, an...

Auto Correct in Outlook will not work
I have Outlook 2007 and Word 2007 and the auto correct feature will not work in Outlook or Word. I can add and see the entry in auto correct in both programs. However, when I try and use it, nothing happens. I am trying to get Fyi to turn into F.Y.I. You need to set the auto-correct options in Outlook 2007. 2007 no = longer depends on Word for its auto-correct options. --=81 Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. How can I print an organization chart across 15 pages correctly?
In Excel 2003 with SP2, I created an organization chart that spanned seven pages across. The printout appeared shrunk at the start and finish. I expanded the chart to 15 pages in order to create larger-sized boxes. This looks good on the screen, but the squashing effect still happens at the beginning and end, and the fact many pages are duplicated in the center of the chart is very obvious. In both printouts the center of the chart is duplicated at the expense of crushing the sides, while the screen correctly displays evenly-sized boxes. I could not find the maximum size limit for ...

Scheduling legacy DTS packages in SQL 2008 SP1
I have hundreds of DTS packages that I brought over from SQL2000 into a SQL 2008 Enterprise SP1 64 bit environment, on Windows 2008 R2 64 Bit. Our plan is to bring everything over as is, and convert to SSIS as time permits. I've run into a bit of a stumbling block hopefully someone out there can assist me with. I can run the dts package by running it at the command line via DTSRUN /S I can run the dts package by hand via the backward compatability design time components when I schedule a job to do DTSRUN as a cmdexec the job fails saying it cannot find the specified file, ...

Office 2004 not installing correctly
Awhile ago I posted that I was having install problems. I followed the MVP procedure for uninstalling Office, and I uninstalled the software. The odd thing was that Office 2004 was still there! So I deleted it and went from there. When I use the Install Assistant, I does not install. I hit "finish" at the end of the install, but no Office 2004! Using the drag and drop method sort of works. The one problem I see is that I have no ability to spell and grammar check. There might be others. I also get an error -39 saying the German Dictionary cannot be installed using the drag a...
