CreateDirectory problem
I am trying to create a directory using CreateDirectory(strDirName, NULL); However, when I try to write a file into the created directory I cannot do so, it gives a security error; I do have the Administrator privileges onto the computer and so on. does anyone has any sample code that sorts out the security issue, or just some sample code with respect to the Security Descriptor creation and the rest of the protocol.

Try to get the error while you are creating the directory "GetLastError". or try a sample application which would help in getting the cause of Privileges error. jakirShow the exact code you are using. I am running Outlook 2003 on Win98 and I cannot get a weekly calendar to print starting on Sunday. I have gone to Tools->Options->Calendar Options, selected all days of the week and selected Sunday as the first day of the week. Problem restoring Outlook 2003 PST file
I recently lost my pc in a power outage. Luckily, I was able to salvage the hard drive and copied the outlook.pst file to a CD. I am having trouble with Outlook recognizing my Contacts. Here is what I did: I opened up Outlook 2003 for the first time and receive the normal �welcome� email. I then go to File\Open\Outlook Data File and opened up the outlook.pst file. I have an Active Directory network with an Exchange 5.5 server running on a Windows NT box. I am hosting 3 email domains on that box. For example lets call them mydomain1.com, mydomain2.com and mydomain3.com. All external emails come in and work just fine except for the mydomain3.com emails. My internal Active Dirctory domain is mydomain3.com. Currently my Exchange server on the NT box is pointing at the internal DNS server that forwards requests to the outside. Hi, I'm trying to upgrade a Powerbook from Office v.X to Office 2004. It installed without any problems, but when I try to start any of the applications, the window comes up to accept the license agreement, and I accept it and then click Next, the application just closes. I used to use the MoneyCentral Portfolio a lot, but I haven't gone there in many months. When I accessed it yesterday, it started creating files on my hard drive... Hi, We are using Vista OS and browser is IE 7. When we are trying to attach more than 100MB to application, getting error as 'Page cannot be displayed'. and we are using the SAP is the backend system with OS is HP-UX and we set the parameters at max allowable attachment is 200MB in SAP system. Hi All, I am having list ctrl with images and text underneath of the image. We are able to display images and text. I have two queries which is as follows 1. we have a requirement of drawing a rectangle when an item is selected using key or mouse click. Border should be of similar size. If we use GetItemRect( ) it does not give the same size for all the image. It varies depends on the text length. If we use our own RECT size that is 120X120 size then also it doesnot work properly. Creation of MDE causing problem
I have a form that works fine in MDB database until I create an MDE file. Once I have done that, both in the MDE and the MDB, whenever the form is closed I get a dialogue box asking to Enter Parameter Value for the 1st field on the form - which is a short date field. If you answer "OK" or "Cancel" it will close fine. If I go into design mode and save the form, everything is fine in the MDB then - until I create an MDE again and then I get the message back. I'm sure there is a simply fix but I don't know what it is. My formula reads: =SUM(B4:W4)/SUM(B3:W3). If I have no values entered within the specified range I get the #DIV/0! error. How should I write the formula to have the cell show a 0 (zero) until values are entered? Problem due to Worker Threads?
Hi This is my first emcounter with multithreaded application. I have created 7-8 worker threads in my application. After running the application for some time my application gives me a run time error. The location where the error arises is not fixed.It can come any where. I dont understand y is this happening. I am facing such a problem for the first time. I think it has got something to do with multi threading. screen view mode problem
Money started appearing recently only in full Maximize view; the Restore view does not work. The program will Minizize the view, but not Restore to a partial screen frame view.
