IIF question

Hello. Doing a report that uses an IIF in a textbox that is text. If the
IIF is false I would like the text (mainly 1 or 2 words) not to be
underlined. How do I end the IIF so the text is not underlined?
Thanks.

I am not sure how you mean, but if you want this underlined based on the
true or false then use the properties box and choose the text decoration
item and write an expression in there.

General CRM Functionality Questions
Hello all, I'm currently researching a possible implementation of MS CRM for our company, and I have a few questions with regard to functionality that I can't seem to find answers for in the publicly-available documentation (I don't have a demo copy or MSDN subscription). Specifically: 1) I would like a client to have the ability to view their previous case histories with our Tech Support department. Does CRM Service (standard) allow customers to do this via a web interface? 2) Does CRM Service have the ability to "capture" emails and assign it to a case associated wit...

Dumb Question: Is My DataGridView data-bound?
All, I am trying to make some (Drag and Drop re-order) code work. I have learned that it will not work with a data-bound DataGridView. So I deleted my old data-bound DataGridView, and added a new DataGridView to my form, and filled it using the code below. Here's the dumb question - is this still considered a data-bound DataGridView? This may be semantics, but if it is still considered data-bound, I'll stop trying to get the code to work (aka beating my head on my keyboard). Thanks, Patrick *********** Private Sub sfrmSetupButtons_Load(ByVal sender As Sys...

How do I create a stock chart where the 'closing price' is OUTSIDE of the High-low range? Basically, I'm plotting sales forecasts accuracy - so I'm comparing the final result with their high-low range. I like the stock chart format, but can't figure-out how to plot the closing price (whisker?) outside of the range At least two ways exist: 1. Change the Close series to an XY type, then format the XY series to use the primary axis. 2. Format the Close series to plot on the secondary axis, then use Chart Options > Axes (or the corresponding commands on the middle ...

Excel import problem
I am importing projects from Excel. I've created a Enterprise Custom Field in Project Server "Task Type". I launch project pro and open the excel file that contains the column "Task Type". In stepping through the wizard the import map finds the new enterprise field and maps accordingly with no problem. (The preview below the mapping setup shows the new field with correct data populating the preview). Finish the import, insert the new field in my project view. Field is BLANK. No data populates it at all! Any ideas? Pete This is a multi-part message i...

Problems & questions about recovering shares
I'm piloting DPM 2010 as a backup solution for a clustered file server. This has led to a few questions: 1. Since DPM doesn't actually backup share permissions without a System State backup, what's the difference between a Share backup and a Volume backup? Why would I choose one over the other? 2. If I backup the data using a Volume backup, how can I get the share permissions restored? I tried restoring a System State backup onto one of the cluster nodes, but I suspect that the permissions on the folder were defaulted when the node rebooted to finish the SS restor...

Simple Payables Writeoff Question
A user has approached me about writing off partially applied invoices. I assume that the proper handling would be to create a credit memo and apply that to the remaining amount of the invoice, however I see that there is the ability to writeoff amounts, but I havent been able to figure out how to use it. The user help information on writeoff is minimal, so can anyone tell me if the writeoff field is intended to be used instead of the credit memo amount and how does one go about entering a writeoff when payment is not being applied at the same time. Thanks in advance! Joe, You really can&#...

A couple of questions
Both related to CRichEditCtrl ... 1. I have a dialog-based app with a CRichEditCtrl. The app monitors data flow, receiving messages when data is transferred. Everything works great except when another app has focus. When another app has focus, the CRichEditCtrl doesn't update until the monitor app gains focus again. How do I get the data display to update when the app doesn't have focus? 2. Is there a way to reverse the scroll direction of data in a CRichEditCtrl? I would like new lines to be added at the top, with the oldest lines scrolling down. Hopefully there's an e...

newbie question on MFC ActiveX ControlWizard
Hi, I am trying to create a control that can be used by VB, I choose MFC ActiveX ControlWizard template when creating project. When I tried to add a property, there is no BSTR in the dropdown box , what should I do? As far as I know, VB does not recognize CString. TIA I'm no expert in ActiveX development, but I believe you must use a COLEVariant in your control and make it a BSTR type. Then you pass back to VB the COLEVariant cast to a VARIANT. For example: VARIANT PropertyInControl() { COLEVariant* v = new COLEVariant(String, VT_BSTR); return *v; } I'm not sure abo...

How can set it so when it opens up it looks for the last workorder_id PK entered then Access automatically add/increment that id by one and shows it on the form. VLOOKUP Question.

What I want to do is on a separate worksheet - have my VLOOUP formula search the 100 rows for particular values. That part is easy. In any given circumstance though, what I want my VLOOKUP formula to search for maybe 2 values out of the 100 rows. I'm using Vista with Office XP. Is there any way to turn off that annoying question that occurs every time I send an email? The one that basically says "a program is trying to access your Outlook file, blah, blah" and then asks for your ok for 1 to 10 minutes. Thanks.
