I have created a query with a list of clients to call today, then exported to
This list contains fields that need to be updated in acess after the calls
have been made. Instead of updating each record manually, I would like to
upload the spreadsheet with the updated data back into access.
I can't see how to update the records instead of appending new records.

If the "records" have unique identifiers, you could use an "Update" query
instead of an "Append" query.

Yep, it works fine if you use a Mozilla browser (Firefox/Camino).

We just installed Office 2007 on our pc's. In Excel 2003 if someone was in
the spread sheet it would bring up a "read only" box listing the name of the
person that was in the spreadsheet. 2007 just says "another user" is in it.
Is there a way to change that to show the name of the user? The users names
already show on thier own pc's in Office.

I have recorded a macro that will pivot some data. Each
month I get a fresh batch of data that needs to be
pivoted in the same way. Each month though the amount of
records increases, although the format stays the same, so
at the moment I go into the VBA code and change the
number of rows that excel with pivot tom allow for the
new number of records. Is it possible to uise some code
code to tell excel to look untill there are no more
records to know how much data to pivot.

I have developed a concantenation, but in the new cell it does not maintain
the font of the data from the originals (ie, it is a concantanation of names,
and the last names are a larger font and different color than the first). In
the new cell where they are combined, it is all the same font. In addition,
the time column, when added to the formula cell reads as a decimel.

Whenever I open a document, and try to Save it as
something else (File>Save As), nothing comes up. The save
as box doesn't come up and neither does an error message.

At Convergence this year there was a session about GP and Sharepoint
(it was GP12 -- How Microsoft Dynamics GP Helps Save You Money with
Microsoft Office Sharepoint) and John Dooley gave a demo of some
workflow that was between GP and Sharepoint.
A customer was created in GP and it would automatically send a
business alert to Sharepoint to create a folder for that customer.

Project Server runs on sharepoint, so you if you are using project server
you need sharepoint. Project can run on windows vista, etc. so Windows 7
would not be a requirement. Of course if you want to use project you need to
get project too...
Sharepoint requires some sort of operating system, so if you have none then
you need to buy something - and windows server would be a good starting

Every month I extract some data out of a database, work with it in Excel,
then save it as a Tab Delimited file to later be exported to yet another
database. This month I upgrade my Excel from 97 to 2003 and all of a sudden
my little process is not working correctly.
If I use Excel 2003 but save the file as type: "Microsoft Excel 5.0/95
workbook" and then create my tab delimited file, then my import will work as
usual without errors.
If I use Excel 2003 and save it as an Excel 2003 file, and then save it as a

as an application on the restore application wizard, only Exchange which is

No such feature as Vertical Indent.
You can use Alt + Enter to provide a line feed at top and bottom of cell.
Select a cell then hit Alt + Enter
Type the text you need then hit Alt + Enter then Enter.
This will give you a blank line at top and bottom.

I've new to Sharepoint, and I've been googling sharepoint product
versions and schema versions, and I am confused...
based on the above page, it sounds like the sharepoint product version
should be the same as the schema version, but even within that page
