How do I insert a ~ over a letter?
I have used ALT164 previously in WORD to get a ~ over the letter n, but am
unable to find a shortcut for EXCEL. Please advise.

I can't replicate what you suggest on my version of Excel (win 11). Do you

we have downloaded CRM 4 and installed it on our SBS 2003 Premium R2 Server.
The installation completed successfully with no apparant errors but we

In OS 10.2.8 when I put the Insert Column and Insert Row tools onto my
existing or onto a new toolbar using the Customize - Commands Dialog Box,
the tools don't work. They are greyed out.
However, it works on one computer, but not several others, and all versions
appear to be the same.
All other tools appear to be working normally, including Insert Cells,
Delete row and delete column.
Any thoughts as to what is going on?

I have a column chart in Excel with 5 columns plotted and a data table below
to show the values. I would like to remove 2 of the columns from the graph
but NOT from the data table itself.
Is this possible? When clicking delete on the columns in the graph, it
removes the entry in the data table too.
Instead of deleting the column, you could try formatting the column to have
no fill and no border. It will still take up phsyical space (but since you're
using a data table, this might be preferred to avoid mis-alignement), but it
won't be visible.

To me it sounds as if you just scanned in the thing as an image (tiff, jpeg,
....), which you then put in a pdf. Converting the pdf back to Word wouldn't
give you the text but once again the image.

When my hard disk (W2K) crashed I had saved my .pst file
on another partition. When I re-installed Outlook 2003,
applied the SP1a patch, and setup me email, etc. I know
have 3 choices of contracts to choose from, from the
dropdown box. The first 2 give an error, when I type in a
name to send an email to, where as the 3rd choice (and
they are all named contacts), allows me to see my list of
contact email addresses.
How can I correct this? I would like to clean this up by
just having one Contact choice, whereas the list of my
contacts would appear when I choose send mail to option.

When I try to insert a picture from file in Publisher, I receive message that
"Publisher cannot convert this picture".
I have re installed Publisher 2000 and downloaded the updates from
Microsoft. Still can't insert picture.
I think I have a corrupted file but removing Publisher and re installing
does not correct it.
Maybe the filter is corrupt. Have you tried other jpg's?
If you think it is the graphic filter, you can replace it. Reinstalling doesn't mean

I have a range of data in cells A1:K1000 and some of the row data in that
range has been partially duplicated. What I would like to do is to delete
the duplicated row if the cell values in column A are the same as well as the
data in Column E.
If cell A1 (Smith) and A2 (Smith) are the same and cells E1 (Microsoft) and
E2 (Microsoft) are the same, delete row 2. However If cell A1 (Smith) and A2
(Smith) are the same and cells E1 (Microsoft) and E2 (Apple) are different,

Hi all, a great 2010 for all.
There was a change in our company in the way that the users are allowed to
use the computers. Basically, some of us had admin rights and now they have
been downgraded to Power Users. There is one app that uses an ActiveX EXE
component which had been running smoothly in the IDE until the change. Now
when I run the main app in the IDE I get a message box which informatively
tells me: "Unexpected error; quitting" (Gee, I which I could do that!).
Doing some research I found that this error happens when I try to
instantiate the activeX EX...Forms: not working right with tables.
I am not totaly good with access. The problem is: I have many tables
setup and working like I need them to. This is a church project. Table
1 is linked to table two. Table one stores only address, home phone
and stuff related to family's that live at the same address and table
two stores names, cell phone, birthdays and stuff related to a singel
person. When I create a form to enter this information it works good
like a charm. The problems start with table two and three. Table three
will be used to keep a recoded of the attendaince. All tables are
