Cannot uninstall MSIE to reinstall with Outlook Express upgrade
I need to upgrade to the newest version of OE but to do
so I would have to uninstall MSIE as The installer senses
that a newer version is already installed and will not
let me proceed with installation. Help?!
Hi - that's odd, as OE is part of IE. Have you run Windows Update recently?

I am experimenting with designing some small mailing inserts for envelopes.
So I have four textboxes that are linked and I want the Shrink Text On
Overflow to work; that is, shrink text so it will fit in the four boxes.
On the Format|TextBox|TextBox options Shrink Text On Overflow is greyed out
when a text box is linked.

I am having trouble installing Desktop client for outlook for CRM 3.0.
When I try to install, I get an error saying somthing like the version
is not compatible or the client already exists.
When I checked, I found that C:\Program Files\Microsoft CRM\Client
folder already exists and has some files in it. There is also MSDE
database for CRM on the machine.
I want to completely uninstall this client. But I do not see the

My copy of Outlook has gotten corrupted (vague "unknown error" messages
whenever I try to do nearly anything), and I haven't been able to fix it. I
want to reinstall the program, so I I removed it using the Office Installer
update feature, then rebooted and reinstalled, using the same feature. No
luck--the reinstallation had the same problems.

I have a combobox that pulls its options from a table.
When the form is opened, the combo is blank until the user chooses one
of the options. The options change regularly depending on the current
records in the table.
I'd like the combobox to show the first option in its list instead of

Single and no decimal places. On theform, the user types in 10% into
the field (2007 automatically enters the % sign). The next field is an
expression =[Amount]-[Dollar Discount]-[Percent Discount] (The user
can give a dollar discount or a percent discount depending on their
needs). It is only subtracting 1% rather than 10%. How do I get it to
both show 10% for the user and subtract the 10% from the amount?

Where exactly do you get stuck?
You can start the (un)installer from Control Panel as well, just like you
would uninstall any other application. To uninstall just Outlook, click on
Change instead. In the setup dialog, select Outlook in the list and set its
installation status to Not Available.

Outlook 2007 (Vista) becomes unresponsive when I click the "Calendar" tab
(message: Microsoft Outlook Not Responding). I have cleared the form data &
run the /cleanviews switch; neither fixed the problem. I have a PST as I am
not on Exchange Server.
I am able to open a reminder and click the calendar to view the calendar but
when I try to click the "Calendar" tab Outlook becomes non-responsive. Any
idea why this is happening? I fear I won't have access to view my calendar
unless I have a reminder to click.

I have an Access 2007 database where I can launch a Word 2007 merge
document whose data source is a query that looks back to a control on
the form for a parameter.
I am forced to use DDE to link the document to the query, but Word
then opens a second copy of the database (without the form showing)
and is prompting for the value of the control.
I have no database title specified.

Prior versions allowed insertion of fields via menu. Desired capability is to
insert 'number of pages' in footer. As in 1 of N, where N is number of pages
in document. 2003 and prior allowed this as a footer command or a field
