two-sided printer setup wizard, Publisher
In 2007 version of Publisher--- I try and run the 2-sided printer setup wizard using the bypass tray (called tray 1) on my printer (for heavy stock) and it will not work. Every time it still draws from tray 2, not tray 1. Is there a way to overide this? I have set the defaults in widows to pull from tray 1 and also in Publisher right before running this wizard to no avail.

It shouldn't be terribly hard to work out how to manually duplex from Tray 1, though. Try one way: if it works, keep doing it that way; if it doesn't, then work out from the way the print came out (if both pages printed on the same size, it was the wrong side up; if one was upside-down, it was oriented the wrong way) which way it should go in the next time. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://ed.mvps.org
the_nerdThis is why I want to use the bypass tray. To get straight through printing. So far this hasn't work for me. Somehow it always goes back to the "main" tray not the bypass tray. You use as many of the facilities of the program as you need to create your brochure. There are many options available when you choose New from the File drop down menu. I recently had to reload Office Small Business 2007 onto my computer and now my publisher document won't merge with my excel spreadsheet. When merging the spreadsheet with over 100 address I only get one page and one address. Previously I got one page for each address. I'm sure it's a setting but which one? Are you doing labels? Unusual, but luckily it fits well the chart. Comparing two lists for matches
Hi, I am trying to do the following: There are two sets of supplier lists - A List and B List. I need to compare the two lists. Source A is my master. Source B is a subset of that but has contact information for all the suppliers. Hence, my goal is to retrieve the contact information from Source B and match it to the suppliers of Source A. The above can be easliy achieved using a vlookup funtion. But the problem is that some of the supplier names in the two lists are not exact matches. Hence, vlookup does not catch it. For instance, a supplier is listed as ABC Inc. in A list and as ABC, inc....

Find two PCI instance but load Init() one time
Hi all, I'm developing a stream interface driver for my PCI device under WinCE 6.0 and this driver works very well currently. Now, I got a problem when testing two the same PCI devices with my stream driver. The registry can find two PCI instances (i.e. PCI\Instance\mydrv1, PCI\ Instance\mydrv2) but system only call my XXX_init() one time. Does anyone know what the problem is? Comparing two lists for matches
Hi, I am trying to do the following: There are two sets of supplier lists - A List and B List. I need to compare the two lists. Source A is my master. Source B is a subset of that but has contact information for all the suppliers. Hence, my goal is to retrieve the contact information from Source B and match it to the suppliers of Source A. The above can be easliy achieved using a vlookup funtion. But the problem is that some of the supplier names in the two lists are not exact matches. Hence, vlookup does not catch it. For instance, a supplier is listed as ABC Inc. in A list and as ABC, inc....
Importing Clips from Publisher 98CD
I have publisher 98 installed on my computer and it won't find the 1000's of clip items on the CD that came with. A very limited number of pics is in my gallery. Is there some way to install these without having to individually categorize and identify each individual piece? Seems like my old computer had no problem with this.
