reading pane keeps turning on and preview pane keeps turning off
I've been using outlook 2007 for about 6 months and all has been ok until
now. My normal view is to have the reading pane turned off and the preview
pane turned on. however, now things changed all of a sudden. now when ever
I go to the inbox the reading pane is turned on and the preview pane is
turned off. So I go to the view menu and reset the view to what it should
be. if I click on any other folder such as sent items and back to the
inbox, its back to reading pane on and preview pane off. This is the same
behavior for all folders. any ideas how to resolve this?

I am making a spreadsheet that is essentially a record. In one of the
cells, I am entering the old/new values for something as 4/80, which
Excel instantly turns into April-80. I can format the the cell back to
General, but the number that results is not 4/80. And if I go in and
reset it to 4/80 again, the autoformatting kicks in again and the whole
process starts over. While there are plenty of ways I could work around
this, from changing the way I enter the data on up, it has become a
sort of matter of honor now. How the heck do I stop Excel from
overriding everything I enter?

I have recently uninstalled Photoshop CS3 and installed CS4. Previously
when I double
clicked on an image file it opened in CS3. When I do it now it does not
open in CS4 stating that it is not a valid windows 32 application. Jpg and
Jpeg files are associated with CS4 in the Windows Explorer file option menu.
I can drag files to the photoshop desktop shortcut and they open.
There is no also difficulty opening these files once Photoshop CS4 is open.
Why can I not double click to open them?

I've asked everyone to disable preview pane and I have one user who
tells me that everytime she disables it, it turns itself back on. She
can disable it in the inbox, go to sent mail folder, return to inbox
and it's back on. Help!

I am trying to import a Word 2000 table into Publisher 98 file using paste
link so that the file is updatable. I get the message:
an error occurred while attempting to import text. Putlisher is unable to
successfully import the text.
Can anyone help?
Instead of importing the text, have you tried doing a copy and paste? (I
don't have Pub 98 otherwise I'd try it myself before suggesting this.)

I seem to be suffering real problems here - sorry to post so often.
I need to produce a template with image placeholders on some pages. I
had no problem in Publisher 2000 or in 2003 but a client is using 2002
which appears to work differently. I do not appear to be able to
create a BLANK image placeholder using 2002. In an attempt to work
around I created an image of the requisite size (529 x 358 pixels )and
put that in position. My hope was that I could then use the REPLACE
image option (right click on image) but I find that the new image
(which is the same size in pixels) appears on the page...Any way to see members of a public list using OWA, plus other snags?
We're using OWA 2003 as a short-term stop-gap solution for a few
hundred users until we get the Outlook client rolled out. It's working
fairly well but there are a few snags...
- Anyone know if it's possible for an OWA user to see the members of a

Right clck the office assistant and select Options. Options that are
selected cause the office assistant to display, so the more options you

Have you tried actually printing your list or just did you just look at the

AFAIK Project Pro 2010 is not compatible with Project Server 2007.
