Serial numbers in Publisher 2003
I have lost my instructions for adding serial numbers to tickets I'm printing on ticket stock in Publisher 2003. As I recall it used mail merge and an Excel spread sheet with the numbers to serialize. Can someone help me locate this instruction? Thanks.

When it merges it will pull the numbers one at a time for each ticket. See Mail Merge in help to assist you in setting it up. It is relatively easy but the first time there is a bit of a learning curve. Set up the merge data first (I use Excel) to create the data file. In cell A1 type in your first ticket number then hold the Ctrl key down and then drag the small square on the bottom right of that cell's outline down until you get all the numbers you need for your ticket. (If you should let go of the mouse button too soon, simply grab the new small square on the last cell and continue to drag with the Ctrl key held. Save the Excel file and then create your ticket file in Publisher and then complete your merge. Be aware when you print preview in Publisher 2003 all the cards will have the same number. This is a Publisher bug. If you are unsure print a test from the print dialogue. (Again, Thanks Mary. I configured the server (Exchange 2003) to forward a user��s emails to test@xyz.com. It is very strange that all messages sent from xyz.com are rejected (please see the sample NDR below), there is not problem to other domains. test@xyz.com did not receive the message while the envelope recipient (admin@abc.com) did. Hello all: I have an environment where I need do do an Exch 5.5 to 2003 Migration. The domain has already been migrated from NT4 to 2003. Hi everyone! Using A02 on XP. I have a table of data with survey response fields that contain a 0,1,2,3,4 or 5. However, the fields are formatted as text, not numbers. I need to add up certain blocks (Items 1-6, Items 7-23, etc.) and then do some averaging. I cannot change the field types from text. Must I append to a new table or can I do something right in my query? I've got one field in my query like this: ES: [Item1]+[Item2]+[Item3]+[Item4]+[Item5]+[Item6] My result is: 553453 or 554444, etc. I want: 25 or 22, etc. I would really appreciate any help or advice. Cannot open assigned task in Outlook 2003 #2
I am using Outlook 2003 on a XP Home PC. When a co-worker creates and assigns me a task, it comes into my Inbox and I can see it in my preview pane, but I cannot open it when I double-click it and I cannot accept or decline it thru the preview pane. My co-worker has Outlook 2003 on a XP Pro PC and has no problem opening and accepting tasks from me. By the way....when I attempt to open it, absolutely nothing happens that I can see....no error, no change of screens, nothing! I would like to change the number format on my spreadsheet from Base 10 to Base 12, eg. 12 bottles makes up 1 case. I'm running Outlook 2003 as a stand alone program without a network. I can't print the address book. The address book menu does not offer any print options including those found in the Help and Support and the MS Knowledge Base. It also doesn't offer the option to export/import. Issue installing FRx 6.7 on Windows 2003
I am encountering an unhandled exception error when attempting the installation. The installation prompts for the language, I select English, then Next. Mounting exchange 2000 public folder store on exchange 2003
I have been told that this is not best practice we have gone ahead and done this we where having a great deal of difficulty getting the public folders to replicate. The public folder mail box was incorrectly named I used ADSIedit to change the mail box name in AD but this didn't work. So in the end we went for a dirty fix (users had lost access to public folders for one day already) and dismounted then copied the exchange 2000 public databases to the 2003 box and mounted them there with apparent success. Issue installing FRx 6.7 on Windows 2003
I am encountering an unhandled exception error when attempting the installation. The installation prompts for the language, I select English, then Next. The progress bar makes it all the way to the right of the next screen, then I get the above error. Conversion from Outlook 2000 to 2003
Currently using Outlook 2000. I am planning on getting a new computer and it will have Outlook 2003 contained on it. How do I save my "data" files (active as well as archive) so I can resume using them with my new computer? Exchange 2003 with SP2 problems...
I installed the SP2 for exchange 2003 server tonight, and I'm getting some problems. I added the registry key to increase the DB size to 30GB per the instructions, but I don't get a confirmation in eventid 1216 as it says I should. In fact, the message in eventid 1216 looks mised up. I'm working in vba in Access to create and save an Excel file. All's good except that one of the workstations this is runnign on is using Office 2007. I'm developing in 2003 and all the other workstatiosn they have are using 2003. It's very important that the files be saved in 2003 format. Mounting exchange 2000 public folder store on exchange 2003
I have been told that this is not best practice we have gone ahead and done this we where having a great deal of difficulty getting the public folders to replicate. The public folder mail box was incorrectly named I used ADSIedit to change the mail box name in AD but this didn't work. So in the end we went for a dirty fix (users had lost access to public folders for one day already) and dismounted then copied the exchange 2000 public databases to the 2003 box and mounted them there with apparent success. Adding up negative numbers only
Ok, let me try to explain this problem. I have several cells a1 throug a10. Each cell has a number, for ex. $10.00, ($5.00),etc. , sometime this number is positive, sometimes it is negative. I want to only ad all of the negative numbers in cells a1:a10 and put a total in cel a11. How can I do this? i have been entering addresses to set up a mail merge. i cllicked the "ok" button in the window and lost all data . can i recover it Look in a folder in My Documents named "My Data Sources".
