Format Cells Date (or any change) not working on imported data
I've just spent ages researching this and not come up with what I need
to be able to do.
I have a worksheet for some simple data that has been imported, a
date, text and number column (as they display graphically to the end
user). All are a "general" format when using Format > Cells.
The issue I have is that the date information is in an American date
format and I would like to change them into a UK date format. Format >
Cells and selecting any option (including custom and special) makes no
changes to the imported data.

No, not really. You could open up both instances, Powerpoint and Publisher,
and then drag and drop/copy and paste from the Publisher window to the
Powerpoint window, the reformat as needed.

If you are using 2003, this is a bug. If you are unsure there is a test print on
the print dialogue screen. Use plain paper for the test.
If you are using 2007, be certain you select multiple pages per sheet.

surfaced when I tried to check a portion of Quicken's account register

a range of dates to print (I only needed one day's worth of

I have a text field that holds the file location of a picture. The content
looks like this:
H:\Access Data\Personnel Pictures\picturefile.bmp
The "picturefile.bmp" is different for every record. Everything preceding
it is identical in all records.
I've moved the folder with all the pictures to a new location and need to
update this field to the following:
S:\Everyone\Member Database\Personnel Pictures\picturefile.bmp
So basically, I need to swap out "H:\Access Data" for "S:\Everyone\Member
Database" in every record.

Create a folder; Create a rule that moves new mails to that folder; Happy
as larry. When a new mail arrives, outlook shows a blue numeric value next
to the folder to indicate unread messages.
However, if you add another folder to the folder created above, ie a sub
folder and create a rule to move new email, you have to have the tree fully
extended to be informed of a new email.
Is there a way to see if an new email has been sent to a sub folder without
having the tree list expanded?
