Not sure if Excel can do what i need
I am obviously a new user to excel. I have a psychological assessmen
that needs to be computerised for ease of use in obtaining results.
Here is what i would like to happen. I have 28 questions with fiv
Likert scale options(0-4) for answers. Each question addresses 1 of
different personality traits. So questions 1, 6, 8, 22 look at anger.
Where as questions 2, 9, 28 look at happiness. What i would like is fo
excel to group the answers and give me the total number for each trait.
Then based on that number, give out a prewritten (which i would provide
result of the assessment.

opens, I do not want them to have access to any toolbars. How can I
hide these when the file is opened, but only for this file - not any

I had a power surge about 3 weeks ago - lost a drive, now making
ticking noises. I had another two drive that seem to work
sporadically now. So, I thought it might have been my power supply.

This seems like it should be easier than it's turning out to be.
One of our accounting staff accidentally entered an invoice for 12/14/2020

of today and an error message pops up telling me "The void date cannot be

My application has a modal property sheet. Normally if the operator presses
"Cancel" the logic throws away the data changes and the sheet closes.
Instead this is what I want to happen:
I check if any data changes were made. If changes were made, I pop up an
OK/Cancel message box asking the question: "Data has been modified. Press OK
to discard data modifications." So if the operator clicks OK, I throw away

Is there an easy way to have input information to a main sheet and if the
criteria is meet it would auto fill into another sheet. I have nine columns
with different information. If one of the columns meets the criteria the
whole row goes to another sheet. Like the name Bailey is in a certain row in
that column that whole row would fill in on another sheet.How would I do this?

I have an Excel worksheet which stored a survey outcome of over 1200
members. There are over 30 questions in the survey and the first column
captured the member ID. The problem is 3 of the survey questions that allow
multiple answers, instead the answer for those three questions are captured
in seperate column, the answers are stored in a single column and it makes
it very difficult to analysis those result. As a result I created
addittional columns depending on the total number of the answers available
for that question and assign the result manually to that column. It is very
time consuming ...need help badly

toggle nor use it to hide or unhide sheets. Security is at Medium - would
appreciate any insight into how to fix this.
Is the sheet protected? You cannot hide a protected sheet.

error 2450 when the form is not open.
In this case instead of displaying the error how can I get a value
from a control on a different form?
You can only get a value from an open form that is displaying that value.
Just refer to the control on the open form:
Use DLookup to get a value from an underlying table. The form does not need
to be open.
