Importing Word Doc with Pictures

Hi,

I am importing a Word doc with pictures and the pictures are not being
formatted correctly.  They are cut off.  This is for a book sized
page,
8.5 by 11.  Is there a way to adjust this so the pictures appear as
normal?
Should they be reduced and re-entered?  This may cut down resolution.
I'm not a graphics expert, so if there is a way to keep the resolution
high
(required) please let me know.

import UTF8 to Excel
I import a text file which was saved in UTF8 format to Excel, but the characters are mashed. If I save the file in unicode by notepad, then I can import to Excel without problem. But the same UTF8 text file, I can open in Word. Any one can help? ...

When I first opened the clipboard, the document display automatically adjusted so that the whole document and the clipboard fit on the screen. Then I moved the clipboard, and now the document display does not automatically adjust. How can I restore the clipboard display to the default? I am copying and pasting numbers and text from 2 seperate programs. The 1st program has numbers in front of the text. I remove the numbers by doing a text column and then deleting the number column. With the text that remains in the next column I then move it over to column A. Then I grab my next set of text from the 2nd program and copy and paste it afterthe last word in column A. I then do an A-Z sort to list them alphabetically. I then name the top row "NAME" and try to do a filter to take out the duplicate names by doing a unique filter on that column. However, all...

I am working on a project that requires me to replace customers names with code numbers in a 80,000 page word document (I broke it into 2 45,000 page docs). The customer names with the corresponding number are in an excel document. For example it will say Smith in column A and the number that will replace him in column B. Reading bookmarks from Word in hyperlink
Need some help. I am trying to make a list with item information. I need to be able to click on the name of the item and be taken to a definition page with pictures and info on it written in Word. By creating each item name as a hyperlink I can easily jump to the page I need for this info from Excel to a Word document. Does anyone know of a way I can restrict/reduce the size of a word document? I'm running Office 2004 on an Intel Mac Mini under 10.4.8. I have a 50 word document that runs to 148K in size. In Excel is there a SHFT command that can remove spaces between words. I need to concatenate the left four letters of the family name with the left two letters of the first name to achieve an individual code of six letters. Import Contacts into OWA 2003?
Does anyone know of a way to import contacts from a windows address book file (.wab) to OWA 2003 contacts folder? I tried using Outlook 2002 to move contacts from the local contact folder to the contact folder on the exchange server but no luck. Just get errors about how the IMAP protocol only supports moving email. Any ideas?
