2007 Structured Reference auto-completion not working completely?In Excel 2007, when I:
1) Select a cell
2) Type "=" in the formula bar
3) Click a cell in a Table
I thought Excel would add a Structured Reference to the formula. Instead, it
just inserts an old-style, "A1" reference. The "Formula AutoComplete" and
"Use table names in formulas" options are both turned on. When I click the
cell in step 3, the TableTools tab appears so Excel agrees that the cell is
in a Table. Isn't Excel supposed to insert a Structured Reference when you
click a cell in a Table? Is there another setup/configuration switc...

Deleted contact in Outlook 2007I have a new Dell laptop with the #$@#$$%$ touchpad. It's been a week
and I am still dragging stuff I don't want to drag and selecting stuff
I don't want to select. AAARRRRRRGGGGGGG.
Anyway, I had a contact open in Outlook 2007 and I did something with
the touchpad and the contact disappeared. I don't know if I deleted
it, renamed it, hid it, or what.
Would I be able to delete it with just one errant touchpad action?
Wouldn't it ask me to confirm it?
I tried Ctrl-Z but Edit | Undo is greyed out. Will Undo undo a deleted
contact?

Outlook 2007 cached mode problemHi
I do some support for a small company that has just installed their first
seat of office 2007. They are running SBS 2000. When Outlook 2007 is set in
cached mode no emails after February 7th show for the user and no new emails
appear.
If cached mode in turned off all their emails show. They were running
Outlook 2002 on another machine previously which doesn't have cached mode so
without trying it on 2003 I can't tell if it is a server or client problem.
All other folders appear to be OK.
Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

Have had a good look through various discussion groups for this and can't
seem to find what I am looking for, I hope someone can help.
I have a access 2000 database which captures projects coming into the
department, each project is then resourced to a team member. When they have
finished their part they put in how long it has taken them, from 1 hour (up
to max of 3hours) then it goes up in 1/2 day increments to 15 days.
At the moment I just have a drop downlist allowing them to pick, for example,
1/2 day, 1 day, 1.5 days etc, but now we have a set daily and hourly rate for...

"master task" has been completed?
What kind of new task? In the form of a recurring task? You can then
configure the Recurrence Pattern on the task.

If I enter a % complete value on a task that indicates it's ahead of
schedule, how do I get MS Project to reflect an earlier finish time than
originally expected?

By putting multiple instances of
=[Forms]![NameOfForm]![NameOfControl]
or other appropriate expressions on the Criteria line of a query, and use that
query as the Recordsource for the report.

My Word 2007 Crashed Whenever I Open It 03-14-10Whenever I open Word or click on a word file, the Word GUI opens and
immediately stops responding. The file doesn't load, and none of the buttons
can be pressed - I just see a word window without a document and toolbars
which can't be pressed. What should I do in order to begin troubleshooting?

Auto Fill function in Excel 2007 not working properlyI cannot get the Auto Fill function to increase values in a series, and I
feel certain I'm doing it right:
First, I tried typing a series of values in a column like this: Cell A1, I
typed 1. Cell B1, I typed 2. Then, I selected both cells with the mouse, and
then moved to the lower right corner of Cell B1 and left-clicked and held the
mouse button down. Then I dragged the mouse button down several columns. The
little pop-up message seemed to indicate that it was repeating 1, 2, 1, 2.

Printing Monthly Calendar (Outlook 2007)My work has upgraded from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007. Every month I print
off the monthly view so I can monitor regular events.
Outlook 2003 monthly print option only displayed the current month (5
weeks). In Outlook 2007 I am getting a six week view which is compressing the
meeting information and displaying some of the next month. Is there a way I
can set this so I only get the current month ?

Weird message when opening Word 2007Since upgrading to Windows 7, I'm getting a strange message when I open Word
2007, which I never got using previous Windows versions. It says: Word could
not create the work file. Check the temp environment variable. When I click
the OK button, Word opens up and there does not seem to be any problems, but
I'd like to get rid of these messages. How can I do that?

Outlook 2007 won't openSometimes I close Outlook 2007 when I'm working during the day and then when
I try to open it it won't open. The other MS applications in the 2007 suite
open OK all the time. It is only Outlook that does this - maybe 2 or 3
times a day. I have to re-boot to gain access to it again.
If, after trying to launch Outlook 2007 I do a restart, the application
opens momentarily before Windows logs off and the computer restarts.
