Making Inactive Items Active

I need to be able to keep specific inventory items from appearing in an
uploaded on-hand report that winds up on a webstore site. These are usually
items for which I no longer have inventory, but I do not want to delete them,
and I don't want them to show in the webstore because I can't get any more.
My method for this has been to make them inactive.

Recently, however, I had reason to try to re-activate a few of them. Using
the Inventory Wizard and the 200 command brings up a list of all my
departments; clicking a specific department brings up a list of ALL inactive
items in that department....... BUT I can't seem to figure out how to
RE-activate only selected items.

How can I do this? Thanks.

WineGuy,

First, you should mark the items you want to appear on the website =
properly. SO Manager | Items | Properties | Options tab | check or =
uncheck Item is available on website and use that as your filter.

Second, if you wish to use the 200, after you select your department, =
the Inactive items are displayed. If you leave everything as is, when =
you finish, they will all become active again. =20

This, you don't want!

What to do is the change them all back to Inactive again by changing the =
first item listed State back to Inactive, then right click on it, Copy, =
right click again and select Paste to All rows, Then you go down the =
list and change the item(s) you want Active by changing the State to =
Active.

An easier way might be to find Inactive items, Reports | Items | Item =
Price List | change the filter to Inactive =3D Yes. Then double click =
on the ILC of the Item you wish to change and uncheck the Inactive flag, =
if you don't have too many to do.

The way I upload the inventory to the site is by creating an Items/Quantitiy
list so using the web item option makes sense. That way I can print it all
out and mark changes, then go to the item and unmark that box when I need to.

I had used that web option earlier, when I thought I was going to populate a
store site using software that automatically extracted the items marked for
the web. I never noticed "Web Item" as a report criterion until you
mentioned it. Thanks.

I don't suppose there's any way to automatically mark all items as well
items, then remove only the ones I want to???

WineGuy,

Backup First

SO Admin | File | Connect | put in your password | Database | Backup=20

then | Query | New | type the following;

UPDATE Item SET WebItem =3D 1

Press the F5 function key.

This will set _all_ items as a WebItem.

Close and exit, do not save the query

show total number of items in Inbox and Sent Items
My Outlook 2002 used to show (somewhere on the bottom of the screen) the total number of items in the folder that was highlighted, if the folder was "Inbox" or "Sent Items". Making a Pivot chart from 3 differnt sets of data / worksheets.
Hi, I have 2 workshsheets of data with a list of delivery dates of about 10 different products over the last 3 years, (i cant combine these to just 1 worksheet for other separate reasons) and a 3rd worksheet with a column of the same products and dates that some of these products became faulty and were sent back to me . On a 4th worksheet, I am trying to do a graph that looks at the 3 worksheets and plots pivot table of dates and amount of each product deliveries & returned to me. Pivot Item Displaying Incorrect Value?
We have a pivot table, which has Project as pivot field 4. The Project pivot field has 3410 pivot items, of which number 842 is misbehaving. The project value for this item is 10537 , and when you drill to detail, that's what you get. Correctly. However, the .Name , .Caption, and .Value properties for this PivotItem all say 616 . In the pivot item drop down list, it's sorted right where 10537 should be, but it says 616 . Thoughts on why/how this would be? best I can tell, someone must have manually typed the 616 accidentally, and the pivot table is set to ac...

making a transfer show up in the budget
Hi all. I am running MS money 2006. How do I make a transfer show up in my budget? I have several liabilities and credit cards, and I would like to make a budget with the monthly amount owed to each creditor showing up in my budget. The MS Money 2006 standard program does not allow me, as far as I can tell, to make a monthly transfer to a credit card or liability show up in my budget, unless I make it a category. How make a favorite for all users in Ex2007/OWA/Documents area?
I am playing around with OWA in 2007 and exploring the "documents" feature of OWA that allows users to view Windows file shares by UNC. Multiple Items in Listbox
I've never had to deal with multiple items in a listbox control. Would it best to store the comma-seperated id integers within 1 varchar field? item quantity discount not found
I have an issue I hope someone can help me with. I had created a mix/match discount scheme for a group of items that I was overstocked with. Now that the items are at the levels I wanted them to be I didn't want them discounted anymore. Since you can't remove a bunch of items from discount at once I decided to delete the discount scheme.
