Hotfix

Good day, can anyone tell me if there are any hotfixes for rms v2.0 running
on windows xp sp3.

I have customers using a dell 760 machine with sp3 and they seem to be
having separate problems.

One is a polling issue, where hq is giving a coalition conflict and another
one the pos is turning off whenever they start doing transaction abd giving a
blue screen.
I heed help urgently.
If there is any hotfixes can i get a link to download them.

Thanks in advance

hotfix install shouldn't require inserting the CD rom disc
When I install hotfixes, I am often (but not always) prompted for the RMS cd-rom (both Store Ops & HQ). The installer wants to look at the .MSI file (as I recall). I would prefer to not walk around with discs. One could copy the CD to a shared folder on the LAN, but even that seems unnecessary. It would be better if I could install hotfixes without being prompted for the RMS cd. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Exchange 2003 Connectivity Problems with latest hotfixes
LATEST HOTFIXES..... KB890859 KB890923 KB893086 KB893066 KB842773 Causes intermittent connection problems to webmail and client connections to exchange. Be careful with these hotfixes as they are now available on Windows Update. I applied them this weekend and had about 60 percent of my client connections fail to the exchange server. Webmail also broke. I uninstalled the hotifixes and rebooted my cluster nodes. Once I completed the reboots everything returned to normal. Jeff Lucal Senior Engineer ...

Are hotfixes/rollups cumulative?
There are several hotfixes and rollup packages available for DPM2007 now. Are they cumulative so I only need to install the latest version, or should I install them all in order? hotfix 968858 install fails
I'm trying to install the hotfix described in KB968858 - part of what this hotfix does is allow Outlook 2007 to check Subject Alternative Names in a certificate (which is what we are doing for our Exchange 2010 install). Every time I run the exe, I get a vague "the installation failed" and nothing in the event log. My Office 2007 is only at SP1 (a requirement for the hotfix). I've tried searching thru the descriptions of all the other office updates that are installed, but none seem to list this particular hotfix. Can someone tell me if it is included in another ...

Hotfix time out HQ Server
Our chain of 40 stores has recently installed the latest hotfix, immediately thereafter stores communications deteriorated from a few minutes to 45 minutes to over an hour per store for only around 40 transactions. The comm schedule was set for every 3 hours and staggered so only 1 store connected at a time. There are roughly 18000 items at HQ. Our IT vendor recommended installing 2 dedicated comms servers to address this problem. We have now done so, and the stores still take 45 minutes to an hour to sync, even with no transactions, and regularly time out even if connected on the LAN....
