Using SBS 2003 with XP pro clients. One user hit the 1GB quota on shared folder. Increased the quota to keep her functional, but when I checked her portion of the shared folder, it showed less than 300 MB used. Are there hidden files that can be removed, or is there something on her PC that's causing this discrepancy? i have archived my inbox, sent mail and deleted files from a certain date backward. the files show up on my floder list in outlook 2000, but when I try to access them, i can only see the file name and outllok will not open the .pst file. what have I done wrong, and how can i open the .pst file?? IStorage, IStream and folder copying to Clipboard
I have an application which represents the filesystem of a device connected via a serial link. I do navigate the device's filesystem and copy files to/from using drag/drop or clipboard. Here comes the problem. I implemented Drag/Drop and Clipboard using CF_FILEDESCRIPTOR and CF_FILECONTENTS with IStream. But i donno how to copy the nested folders from the application to the Windows Explorer. Should i enumerate the contents of folder and all itz subfolders to create the FILEGROUPDESCRIPTOR? No Accounts Folder only Customers
I have installed CRM 3.0 but reading the manuals I keep being directed to create ACCOUNTS. I don't have an ACCOUNTS folder listed in either Outlook or my Web Client, I do however have CUSTOMERS. Do I have a more recent version than the books or do I have an out-of-date one ? Outlook 2002 appointment sent to public folder calendar gets puts in someone elses calendar instead
Andy Fenton sent an all day event to IT shared calendar for 1 February. It does not appear in the IT caledar, but it does appear in Richard Brown's. From within ESM on Exchange 2k3, I get the following error when I try to expand the public folder tree: "The HTTP service used by Public Folders is ont available, possible causes are that Public stores are not mounted and the Information Store service is not running. Convert calender into public folder
We have recenctly migrated from GroupWise to Exchange 2003. We had a number of full accounts setup just for calendar sharing. It seem stupid to have a full account in Exchange just for the purpose of sharing a calendar. Can the calendars in these accoutns be converted into public folders and the account removed? Not if you want automatic acceptance of meeting requests. If you just need a shared calendar, and don't care about booking resources, then by all means create a public folder of type calendar. Shared folder called address
I have found a shared folder on my root directory called Address. inside it has some sub folders, in the subfolders there are some dll's, the dll's properties say they are from Microsoft and or exchange. I assume that this is some sort of address book publishing but not sure. Is this normal or I this some sort of back door for spam? any ideas? Can't open attachments in Public Folders
Hi, this is a recent problem. I can't open attachements in a public folder. This is what I get when I try to open the file: Can't create file: Resume.doc. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder. I've logged into Outlook on a co-workers machine and can access these attachements fine, just not on my computer. I've reinstalled, uninstalled and installed and still no go.
