rules in outlook 2003 #3

i have a user who is running outlook2003 with the new type of .pst file that
allows larger size. She had rules setup in office 2000 to move emails to
certain folders from specified senders. she pulls her email from a exchange
5.5 server. the rules worked fine in 2000 but will not working 2003 and i
have had her delete and re add the rules. Are their issues with exchange 5.5
and office 2003 or does anyone have any ideas?

thanks everybody in advance

Techsupport,

I have a similar problem with OL2003 and Exchange 5.5:

My rules work well while I am connected to the server, but they don't
work when using OL offline. They used to in OLXP.

Roady,

there are several. The simplest:

- if a message is sent, put a copy of it into the Inbox folder.

I want sent and received messages together, threaded by communication.

Either \ or conditions in rules
Is it possible in Outlook 2003 to create a rule with either \ or conditions, eg If the message has certain words in the subject line OR if there are certain words in the body of the message? As far as I can see, you can only create conditions linked with AND. In that scenario, you would need to create two separate rules, each with = the same actions.=20 --=20 Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for=20 Administrators, Power Users, and Developers ...

Problem with Outlook at Work
Hello - We use Outlook with Exchange Server at work (I'm a user). I'm on a laptop. If I connect wirelessly via VPN then start Outlook, all works as expected. But when I go to my desk, disable wireless (and VPN), and go hardwire, while keeping Outlook open, then after Windows reconnects, I get my mail messages but if I try to create a Calendar event, I do not see my availability (ie, I'm always displayed as being free even when I have other appts). 1.2 to 3.0
Hi All, I've had a look but not found anything on this - what is the deal with licensing 3.0 if you've already got 1.2? Can the 1.2 licenses be used in 3.0 or are we going to have to pay a little extra? Cheers Tom Tom If you have valid Software Assurance cover on the current licensesI think that you will get the new software as part of that. If not I think that you have to buy it from scratch.
