Either \ or conditions in rules
Is it possible in Outlook 2003 to create a rule with either \ or conditions,
eg If the message has certain words in the subject line OR if there are
certain words in the body of the message? As far as I can see, you can only
create conditions linked with AND.
In that scenario, you would need to create two separate rules, each with =
the same actions.=20

We have one mailbox that has different email addresses that point to it. We

Then you should ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
Why don't the message rules work? I keep making messages to block the word
Viagra (any combination of spelling variations) and numerous other words, and
delete the messages. I have over 400 rule, most about Viagra, and NONE of
them are working.
What exactly are you specifying? See http://www.insideoe.com/tips/rules.htm
The rules are the same in WinMail except they added the junk folder.

Is it possible to detect the current logged-on user (not the user of the calling thread) from a Windows service's thread?
The service runs in the context of a special service account, the Windows function GetCurrentUser (called from the service's thread) returns only the special service account name. I want to allow the service to start a program in the context of the current logged-on user (if a user is logged on) to inherit all the user's rights and to make the program visible to the current logged-on user.

Dear Exchange people,

...Best way to retain settings when upgrading SMTP connector to 2003 ?
After upgrading the FE 2000 to FE 2003 and deploying new Exch2003, I would

If I have Win2000, EXCh2000 SMTP connectors, would be the best way to retain

Since those are basic configurations, I could also just copy the settings to
the new server manually, but I would like to check to make sure if there is
a wiser way.
SMTP connectors do not need to be "updated". Since SMTP connectors function
at the routing group level, you can simply specify a different bridgehead
