Email already in use
After trying to assign an email address to a user i recieved an error stating that the email address was already in use. After hours of investigating I found that (i think) my top Level Public Folder had been assigned the email address I want to use. When I enter the address into the To: field of Outlook the address changes from info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com to Public Folder Store(xxxxxxxxxxx). No Negative Numbers in Inventory Transactions
Well, this is a strange one. When a user attempts to perform an Inventory Adjustment transaction and type a negative number in the quantity field, the negative sign disappears and the number is treated as positive. When a person logs on to the workstation using the network adminstrator password and then opens Dynamics GP using the original user's name, the transaction works fine. IMF & CDO emails
Hi I am having a strange problem with IMF, i installed it over the weekend and at the moment it is only set to send level 9 spam to a users junk email folder and nothing else. However, we have a couple of applications like a helpdesk which send emails via SMTP CDO to the person the jobs is logged to etc, however, the notifications are appearing in the junk email folder so it is obviously marking them as level 9 spam, even when i send the messages through the exchange front end server. Text spreadsheet becomes too large
I was sent an excel file by a member of our accounting dept. and while it is not very large at all it has grown to 134 mb even though it contains no graphs, imbedded objects, special formatting or anything of that nature that would cause it to grow this large. Does anyone know how this can happen. The file has 3 tabs and only uses about 20-30 rows on each tab with nothing other than text but it has grown to 134 mb. Sent email not getting transfered to Sent Items folder
I am using Outlook 2000 and at a certain point emails that I've sent get stuck in the Outbox folder and are not transferred to the Sent Items folder. If I try to manually move a message to Sent Items I get an error that says "Can't move the items." When I delete some messages from the Sent Items folder then everything works normally. So it looks like there is a limit to how much my Sent Items folder can store and when it gets full my sent email is never transferred out of my Outbox. We are currently using CRM 4.0 as a service desk ticket system. Typically, IT users receive tickets (cases), and from there they may create a task on that ticket for another user. However, managing this has been quite a bit of a headache. For example, as an IT user, the only place that I can see both tickets and tasks assigned to me, is the "In Progress" queue. Is there a way to set an option so that sent items are saved without the mail attachment? One way you can remove the atachment is opening the sent mail, and right-click the attachment. It would give you an option to remove the attachment. Click close to save the mail without the attachment. Hi All~ I have Excel 2003 and when i try to email this workbook a new field shows up called "introduction" (file-->send to--->mail recipient and use existing worksheet as body). In a few of the older files that we have which were created in older versions of Excel, there is text that appears in the "Introduction:" field and I am not able to find where it is pulling that text from.
