archive folders dont work!
Since a couple of months i cannt put any email (read or unread!) in my
archive folders (let say the folders which ive created under the inbox
folder). Every time I drag a mail to one of the folders (doesnt matter
which one!) I get the next error message:
"Cann't replace Item(s). Cannot replace the Item. The item is removed
or deleted or the access to the item is denied."
I'm using outlook 2000, working in network environment of a company.
I've xp prof. as the operating system.

If you have created a folder...Public Folder (phone journal) Freezes
I�searching for quite a while for a problem with some public folders.
We have some userers with various outlook versions from 2000 to 2007 with
the problem that when they are triying to access public folders that are
defined as phone journal with a number of 50K + entries they are getting no
respone from outlook and outlook freezes... but... the curious thing about
that is that not all users are having trouble and even one user
(Terminalserver user) had the problem... only sometimes...
The Size of the largest public folder where I have trouble with is 150 MB
with 69K objects....Reminders not working in sub Task folders
Is there a fix or workaround to have reminders function

I have WinXP pro & Office 2003 with all updates and SP's, on all computers at
my house, mom's house, office. I have existing shortcuts to folders. When
in Windows Explorer, everything works fine. but when I an using any office
app, on any of the computers, and I click on an icon for a shortcut to a
folder I get "

I need to get a new CD-RW/DVD Rom drive for my daughters HP Pavillion because
it is not reading the cds correctly. Can I just buy an external drive instead
of taking it to a computer shop to have an internal put in? This would be
alot easier I would think, but I did not know if this would be the compatible
thing to do. Please advise me on this. My operating system is Windows XP.

I have to watch very closely as I delete items from my Outlook inbox using
the Delete key because every once in a short while TWO entries get deleted at

If you can't close them, then you managed to corrupt your profile, probably
by migrating data incorrectly.

I'm preparing for some mailbox moves to another server and i've started the
public folder replication process with pfmigrate. Some public folders have
replicated fine but i'm noticing some on the source server(ones that we
didn't create)titled controls, default, events root, exchangev1, exchweb,
img, microsoft, schema schema-root and a few more that didn't replicate.

I have an Archive folder in my folder list that no longer
exists. When I try to delete it from the Outlook folder
the delete option is not enabled. Any suggestions.
What version of Outlook are you using, and if 98 or 2000, what mail support
mode? If you're not sure, look at the second line of Help | About Microsoft
Outlook -- it should say "Internet Mail Only" or "Corporate/Workgroup".
(Outlook 97, 2002, and 2003 don't have separate modes.)
