Preventing changes to received messages

Outlook allows me to modify a received message's body and subject field. So
if Bob sends me an email, I can open it, change the body's content, save it,
and it looks like that's how I received it. Then if I print or forward it,
it looks like Bob sent me something he in reality didn't.

Is there a way to disable that? Can the integrity of a received message be
protected? Can this be done without digital signitures?

Using Outloook 2003 and Information Rights Management, you can disable the
ability to edit and/or print the message.

You did not state what version of Outlook you are using.

If you are not using Office 2003, then add-ons like Gigatrust will allow you
to use Microsoft's RM and still protect email content.

Can I save format changes to a Pivot Chart?
Once a Pivot Chart has been created in Excel I can edit the format of the chart (such as changing colors, lines to bars, chart type, etc.). Once I pivot to new information, however, the formatting is lost and the chart returns to its original format. Is there a way I can save the format so that the chart keeps the formatting even when I pivot the data? Hi, Some things yes, most things no: 1. To beat the color changing problem, choose Tools, Options, Color, and change the default chart colors at the bottom. This effects every part of the workbook. 2. Data labels can be retained, but n...

Changing/Manipulating Legend range for a Pivot Chart in XL2010 vs XL2003 and below.
In previous versions of Excel (<=2003), upon creating a pivot table and chart to obtain a contour map, for example, one could manipulate the number of colors/contours (major/minor units) via double clicking in the legend on the Pivot Chart. One was then presented with a dialog/ option window that was somewhat similiar to the functionality of manipulating standard chart axes, i.e. one could manipulate/change major and minor units to achieve the desired number of contours. In Excel 2010, I am unable to find the/a way to acheive the same end. I have the contour chart (based on the pivot table...

how can i change the letters in the top row to words
You can't. You can use letters or numbers or nothing. Tools|options|General tab|check/uncheck R1C1 Reference style or tools|options|view tab|check/uncheck row and column headers. But there's nothing stopping you from putting headers in row 1 and then freezing panes so that row 1 is always visible. As a user of excel, I expect to see the row and column headers. So I don't see a problem showing them. And since many people like A1 reference style and others like R1C1, I (as a developer) let them see what they want. HOW DO YOU CHANGE VALUE OF USER-DEFINED FIELDS outlook 2007
I can create user-defined fields, but cannot edit them by clicking on properties. I think I have in-line editing on, but none of the fields can be edited. "I think" isn't really good enough for troubleshooting. You need to be sure that in-cell editing is on. You might even want to create a new view. Depending on the type of items, a custom form might be another way to make it easy to edit custom field values.
