export outlook emails, and keep attachments
I want to export my emails (and attachments) from my old
computer to cd, then import from cd to Outlook on my new
computer. I believe I'm successfully exporting the email,
but the attachments aren't getting saved. How do I do it?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide!
Don't export your items, copy the .pst file to your CD, then on the new
computer, copy the .pst file to the hard drive, remove the read-only
property and use File->Open in Outlook to access your information. (Note -
do NOT try to overwrite your new .pst file created in Outlook. Ju...photo

There is no built-in way of doing this. You can, and should add the ALT tag
to each picture, but that will not show with a mouseover. It is there for

Version: Older version
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Not sure which versions of Word and Excel I'm running but the Entourage version is 10.1.0 and I purchased MS Entourage all bundeled together with Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I went to open a new Excel document and the program looked like it was starting but just closed again before displaying a new blank Excel doc. Word and Powerpoint are behaving the same way. Entourage is opening just fine, all the data seems to be there and I can enter and save new data. I can even open an old Word or Excel file...sending image file attachment

I have recently replaced Money 2004 with Money 2005. The upgrade appeared
to break the OFC filetype registration (I have no filetype registration for
OFC). My web statements send OFC files that used to be opened by
mnyimprt.exe and be handled just fine. It doesn't even work now if I
register the OFC files with mnyimprt.exe manually.
I have uninstalled, run the mnyclean utility and reinstalled, all to no
avail. Any ideas?
2005 doesn't support OFC, only OFX and QIF. FWIW, I read today that Quicken
no longer supports QIF, which I find ironic.

You can do it at the client level or purchase/freeware a third party

How do I save a photo that I sent to myself in MS outlook 2007?
According to MS Help I should see a "save as" option on the menu when I
right-click the attachment.
I tried right-clicking the open attachment but all I see is" "copy" on the
shortcut menu that pops up.
Right click on the name of the file before you open it.

Hello. I know in Outlook you can restrict attachment to
particular file types, but is there a way to do this on
the exchange server? Can I limit attachment types, or
just limit them altogether for certain users? Thanks.
Not on the server, no. For that, you'll need 3rd party software.

When I open my file it asks to enable the macros and I say yes. Then it
shows opening file at the bottom. However when this is complete and says
ready all I have is a grey screen like when you close your document but have
Ecel open still.
One thought (and only a thought). Try doing Windows, Arranged, Tiled. This
could bring the workbook back. The reason could be that the person saving
the sheet had (say) two screens, Excel across both of them and had the
workbook on the right hand screen when they saved it. If you have only one
screen then the workbook is open, but is posit...Searching attachments in personal folders
