Outlook 2003 multiple issues. Does this thing work?

Had Outlook 2002. Worked fine. Upgraded to Outlook
2003. Now all kinds of problems. Uninstalled,
reinstalled, ran updates, etc. still no help. Here are
problems.
1. Crashed all the time with a ntdll.dll error
2. If I send in Rich Text or HTML format the messages
arrive completely blank.
3. Cannot customize any view. The flag column is about
the 5th column over and header status is the 1st. I have
removed header status and moved flag about 2,000 times
and they don't move or go anywhere. Seems they put
customize view in there just to give you something to
click on so they could laugh at you. IT DOES NOTHING.

Any answers would be helpful. Also, so far, everybody I
know thinks this thing is defective. We all have
problems.

You didn't specify when it crashed and what exactly is logged to the Event
Viewer

-First make sure all your add-ins are Outlook 2003 compatible. Did also
includes virusscanner, synchronisation and fax software.

-Did you recreate your mail profile after the upgrade already? This is
always a good practise;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles

To access your current pst-file in the new profile;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

To set it as the default delivery location;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts...-> button Next-> use the dropdownlist below

-In addition you can also have your Toolbar rebuild. All Toolbar
customizations will be lost and the Toolbar will reset to what it looked
like when you first installed Outlook. To do this locate outcmd.dat and
rename it to outcmd.old when Outlook is closed. By default you can find it
here;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

-Applied Service Pack 1 already?

-You cannot customize "any" view? Note that the header status can't be
removed in the Inbox when working wit an Exchange account. The Flag column
can be easily removed in the Field section of customize your view or by
pressing Other Settings and untick "Show Flags Column"

OK nevermind. Going back to Outlook XP until they get

Background (please bear with me here): I had a hard drive crash and no recent backup (I know I'm an idiot!). I finally had to have a disk recovery outfit rescue my data.
