Outlook 2003 asian filename file attachment problem
Using Outlook 2003 on an XP SP1 box with the multilanguage option selected for the OS. When I create an email message using RTF as the format and attach a file with an asian doublebyte filename, it attaches it into the body of the email and all the doublebyte characters are replaced with question marks (?????.doc). If I change the email format to HTML and attach the same file, it attaches the file to a new field called "Attach.." under the "Subject:" field and the multibyte characters show up just fine. Why don't the characters show up when I use RTF? Is this a known limitation and is there anyway around it? Thanks for any help.

Hi my desktop disks crashed 7 months ago and I have been using my laptop (win 2k pro sp4 and outlook 2003 with vpn) for this time SUCCESSFULLY. problem with signature
I am trying to create a simple signature for my HTML mails, with a link to my website.I want it to be a hover link, no underline. I have made a very simple HTML in Dreamweaver, and all the appropriate attributes and styles are set via CSS. It looks and works fine on my browser. But when I select it as my signature file in OL2003, hover link property disappears and it reverts to the dreaded underline link. Any ideas how achieve this? TIA ...

Data Base Splitter Problem
I have used the splitter on numerous occassions with no problems. This time I get a pop-up saying " Subscript out of range". After I touch the OK button on that pop-up, I get another pop-up syaing "Invalid procedure call or argument" After I touch the OK button on that Pop-up, I am left with the splitter form again which I canceleld. I have tried this several times with the same resluts each time. The splitter did save a copy of the tables with the _be title but it is not protected in the main file. User's computer is not a member of the domain. Mail flows and all looks good till you start the OOF thing. It will just tell you it cannot connect to the server because it's currently unavailable. I am running this under Windows 7. I have removed 60 day trial and previous 2003 version. When I go to launch Access Word or Excel I see a configuration bar appear and a search is conducted for set up files whilst a time bar is shown on screen. This completes then the app will open!
