Newcomer: Taskpad icons?

Just started using Outlook 2002 and have a couple of very basic
queries I couldn't resolve in Help.

1. What is the meaning/use of the icon in the column on the left
please? It seems to be unchanging, and looks like a clipboard with a
checkmark on it.

2. If a task is made high priority, its appearance seems to remain
unchanged. (Same for Low priority).

(BTW, in Help so far I could see no examples of the various icons. All
help appears to be just descriptive text. Am I missing something? If
not, isn't that a backward step in Help documentation?)

I am bothered with sooooo much spam emails and I would like to be able to select these emails....specify them as spam. I would like to get your opinion about some code in reference to your Async threaded socket example from your website. I sent you an email, but I probably got placed in the same file with the Viagra spam. That and your email rules seemed quite extensive. Please let me know what would be the best way to contact you for questions and opinions in reference to your examples. Thanks Andrew Sellon Defnitely did not see it; actually, the email rules there represent perhaps 10% of the rules...Microsoft made it much too difficult to maintain the rule list now, since there is no text export...

Icon or image in first column of ListView in Details view
Is there a simple way to display a selected icon or small image in the first column of a ListView in Details view? I can't use StateImageList cause I need a few different types of images. An example would be displaying a list of programs, capturing their icons, and displaying them in the left hand column while displaying the program name to the right. This is a tough one to search for, since most hits end up referring to other ListView modes, or to StateImageList (two states only for the entire ListView). I need separate images for each ListViewItem, and it needs to work in ...
