We have a few support accounts where delegates have permission to send
on behalf of this account. The Sent items will appear in the "Sent
folder" of the delegate instead of account owner; apparently this is by
design. This is a problem for us, though, because other delegates of
the account can't see what has been sent on behalf of the account,
i.e., User A does not know the support emails sent by User B on behalf
of firstname.lastname@example.org. KB317865 supplies a solution by way of copying
all the items in the Delegates Sent Folder to the account owners Sent

When my users mailboxes are full above quota and not accepting any more mail,
the sender receives a differently worded DSN depending on whether they sent
email to that user from an internal account (one that is part of the exchange
org) or an external account (not part of the Exchange organization).
The one sent to the a user that is external is much less human friendly and
is causing me a problem with some scirpted automation in my app.
Is there a way to make the text the same for both? Examples pasted below:

Here's one I haven't seen before:
I have a client with Outlook 2000 (Yes, I know...), and starting about
3 months ago, email messages they have sent out don't appear in the
Sent Items folder after they go out. The messages are indeed going out
correctly, but that Sent Items folder remains totally empty.
The folder size is about 2 kilobytes, and it is not increasing in size
as new messages go out. It really looks empty to me.

I have a very strange problem,
we have a network with exchange server, and outlook 2002

It's been saved into deleted email folde , and all of them does not have the

What can be the problem?
Afraid that is "by design". This will change in v3 though.

No message is sent. Outlook creates a welcome message. That's a function fo
outlook - embedded in the binaries somewhere as far as I know. It's
permanent. Post this in the outlook groups tough and confirm.

...Email Reply Not Use Account To Which Email Sent
Outlook fights me over which of my email "accounts" it
uses to send your outgoing email.
What happens is that Outlook, when you do a reply to an
email, sometimes takes it upon itself to make the first
listed email service (in the Tools / Accounts / Mail tab)
the reply service. NOT the default email service or, more
logically, the service to which the email had been sent.
Of course, sometimes it DOES choose the service to which
the email was sent, but I am unable to determine any
pattern to it.

I have two separate e-mail accounts, one for business and another for
personal. I also keep my business and personal contacts in two separate
contact folders. Is there a way to control which account an e-mail is
delivered through based on a contact. I want to avoid having to "select"
which account to use when sending an e-mail.
Thanks for any guidance.
Not possible that way, as far as I know.
What about using two separate mail profiles? You can have them use the same
PST file so your data is all in one place....

I know the messages are sent because I have gotten responses from people.
Anyone have any ideas why?
The folder or database could be corrupt. Make sure you have it set to keep
a copy in the sent items under Tools | Options | Send. If that is set, then
try compacting and repairing the database with my Windows Mail utility
