Unable to log into my Outlook mail
I can log into my win2k domain, but when I open my

When I enter the correct info, the system replies that
it's incorrect. I have tried changing passwords and many
other fixes, including uninstalling and reinstalling

I've been looking for a solution, but nothing yet has worked. I have a
user on Outlook 2003 who tried to send a 600MB file two days ago. it
didn't go through, but she didn't receive a "could not send" notice,
it's not in her sent mail folder, and she's now getting size limit
warnings. Her local mailbox size doesn't reflect the size of the
attachment, but using Exchange System Manager her total size is 600MB
higher. Nothing that we have tried on the client has worked to remove
the email, including procedures that have been suggested on this
newsgroup. D...Can I download the install files if my drive doesn't work?
I purchased Microsoft Office for Mac but the drive on my new laptop
won't read the discs. I'll take my laptop in for warranty service but
in the meantime, can I use the registration codes/numbers on the
package to download the programs and install them this way? I need to
prepare a presentation today or tomorrow and will need Excel and Word
to put the docs together.... the trial versions preinstalled on my
laptop have already expired.

Does anyone know how to change the GL posting date of a payables or payroll
batch from one period to another period within the GL?
Example, a payroll check was originally cut on March 31, 2008 and posted to
the GL in March. On May 15th, the payroll department voids the payroll check
using the original March 31st date. Systematically, the voided check
attempts to post to the GL in the month of March which has already been

...Outlook 2002 => 2003: multiple copies of rule-processed emails.
I have been a long time user of Outlook since (I think) about the '98
version. I have always used rules and am familiar with them and have
had no problems. Until recently.
Recently I was forced to upgrade from 2002 to 2003 version by corporate
IT. 2002 version had been working perfectly for a few years.
My problem is that mail rules don't work for me correctly in 2003
version following the upgrade. We don't use Exchange, I am fetching the
email from a POP server. In an attempt to narrow down the problem, I
simply deleted every rule I had, and created 4 brand new ones to sta...what's the formular for time in payroll

...troubles with delimited files
I receive orders via CSV files. Below is one of the troublemakers. If you
notice, the sku# is 9185 and the 16 digit following ends in 9185. Great! No
matter if I open as CSV, TXT, or cut-n-paste, then opt to delimit into
columns, the 16 digit number will always resolve to 9990000000009180 which
is a mismatch. Also, with the cell not wide enough, it displays as 9.99E+15.
All other similar 16 digit numbers would display as 999E+15 and delimit

...Comma Delimited (CSV) Files
How can I save an excel file as a comma delimited (CSV)
file, BUT still maintain a format that allows for 15-digit
credit card numbers? These usually require special cell
formatting (ie text or number) that get lost when saved as
a CSV file.
My understanding is that saving as CSV saves all formats
as "General." The result is a file that displays credit
card numbers in scientific notation (3.71528E+14)!! This
doesn't work for batch uploading to process credit cards.
What can I do to have a CSV Excel file that actually
displays 15 digits!?

Nope - but, you can try changing the recovery model to BULK-LOGGED and
seeing if that reduces the amount of data recorded in the transaction log.

When I click on the save icon, there is no place to type in the new file name.
If a new unsaved file you will get the dialog to enter a name.
If an existing saved file, Save will do that save without asking you for a
name since it assumes you want to save the file with same name.
To change name of a saved file, hit "Save As"

...Outlook response time
I have Outlook 2003 SP3. Lately the time it takes to create a new message

This could be the only program open, or one of two or three, with the same
