Choosing subform fields from master form
I have a master form with 4 subforms. 3 of the subforms have only checkboxes.
The boss wants to choose the checkboxes displayed in subforms. For example,
this week the boss wants users to view checkbox1, checkbox2, checkbox5, and
checkbox7 in a subform. The following week he wants users to see checkbox3,
checkbox4, checkbox6, and checkbox 8. I'd like the boss to have an
administrator console where he chooses what checkboxes will be available for
the users.How do I handle this with a multiuser split database?

box. How do I get rid of the + and box?

When I open a Contact and try and print the info memo style, the printer is
always set to Manual Paper Tray. I have tried to set it to Auto but it
reverts to Manual when I close and reopen Outlook. Is there a way to

I have this problem with one of my clients using OE:
He receives three different e-mail addresses into OE, let's say
firstname.lastname@example.org; email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Of course, if
he hits reply, the FROM address of the reply will indeed be the
address the original message was sent to.

I have two tables. One has a unique PersonID with a lot of information about
the person (one to one). Another table has one to many records with
addresses associated with people. The 2nd table has an addressID and the
same person can have several address. Each address has an address type. As
it turns out, there is only one address type for each person, which helps me
in what I want to do.
I want to create a table that has a unique PersonID and a field in each
record for two of the types of addresses. In other words, one person has

I have a notebook computer that has a PocketPC synching to it. On this
notebook, I installed Outlook to get to my corporate server for synching
contacts, notes, etc.
I use OE for all my email on this notebook, and after every sync Outlook
takes over the default email program role.

I have Excel 2003 and I already have a macro to popup a open file dialog.
However, it always starts at "C:\My Documents" folder. I want it to browse
files to open from a specific directory. How is this done? Note that I
already have the "ChDir" on the line above the "Application.GetOpenFilename"
but the browsing does not start from the specified directory.

I tried replying to a work email earlier tonight and after I sent it,
although I specified which account to send the email from, the saved sent
message said it had been sent from my personal (default) account. I've got
four accounts on Outlook, so I tested them against each other and found that

I've got a VBA application that allows teachers to easily save and reuse
autotext entries when grading assignments.
Generally things are going well but if the user enters a margin comment then
highlights that commment then saves it, the autotext will contain the final

do not include the final paragraph mark and then store the autotext then the
field for the page number is not included.

I'll try to be brief :). I work in the RNoAF as a staff Sgt, and hold daily
..ppt briefs in front of a large audience. Before each presentation, there
are usually 5-10 minutes of "wasted time" as people anter the room and find
their seats. During this time, it would be great if I could click a link or
button in the presentation that would take me directly to a picture
slideshow. The pictures would all be in a predetermined folder, but the
slideshow would have to be in random order so as to not be repetitive from
one presentation to the next.

I have an VS.NET 2003 app which will be processing XML files, some of which
will have empty elements (for example, <Item />). I have an XSD file which
should supply default values, but I am not able to read these plugged in
value using an XMLDocument object. The validation is working fine--it's just
not providing any default values.

those that "should be simple..."

I use table/figure captions and cross-referencing a lot (currently using Word
2007, but same issue for other versions).
When I insert a cross-reference, the default is always to insert the "Entire
Caption" as the cross-reference. I can change this (for example, if I'm
inserting a table cross-reference, I change it to "Only Label and Number"),
but as soon as I switch to inserting a figure cross-reference, the default
switches back to "Entire Caption" again. When I'm switching often between
figures and tables, it's extra clicks every time...
