Importing Data into an Excel Pivot Table via AccessI have set up a query in Microsoft Access which is linked to our AS400
server. I have created pararmeters within Access which asks for certain
fields which works. I then go into Excel and create a pivot table with the
external data source that I have created in access. When I go to enter a
pararmeter within Microsof Query I get a reply saying that "Parameters can
not be used with this Query", what I want to do is setup a parameter on the
Excel spreadsheet which then goes and gets the data i require from this
parameter. I would be very grateful if someone could help me with thi...

Without reopening what? Outlook? Hotmail? The short answer is "you

outlook 2007 runs slowHi
Outlook 2007 runs slow. Is there a way to speed it up.
Thanks
Do you have the outlook performance update installed?
Are you using a Dell laptop?
Did you upgrade from an older version and are still using that profile?
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/slow.htm - install the update
listed at the end - also make sure all OS and Office updates available
through Microsoft update are installed. If it's still slow, try the various
solutions that apply to your situation.

I got the same message: "The operation failed". So I am

Did it work before? Did you change anything in yr settings? Are you sure
your internet mail account settings are valid (correct username, pw,
smtp/pop3 servers)?

Outlook 2003Hello.
I copied my PST file from my D: drive to my F: drive.
I then went into "Data File Management" to get the new location
recognized and to have all future mail sent to that location.
After doing this, my custom settings, like new folders, date
settings, columns, etc, are all back to their default settings.
Is there any way I can get my custom settings working again on the F:
drive?
Thanks,
Dan
Could you explain yourself a bit more? What custom settings are you refering
to? You mean views? And what new folder settings?
Also post your version of Outlook.

Import Palm filesCan anyone help me by telling me how to import palm files
(dat files) into outlook. I want to import contact,
calendar, etc
Depends what you can export to from Palm Desktop. Personally, I've found
this messy. Why not just get sync software that can sync your Palm with
Outlook directly? Chapura Pocketmirror or Pumatech Intellisync are two
ideas....or your Palm CD may have come with this option.

cmbo box on subform fills fields on form when chkbx is yesI have a multi-tabbed form that details bid data ranging from pricing to
contact info to departmental notes. Page two has a subform listing general
contractors to whom we bid. One bid may have 10-15 contractors listed. When a
purchase order is issued from one of these contractors I select a checkbox

the address and contact info for that GC when the checkbox is yes. Is this

allowing or disallowing changing the state of check boxHi,
what's the best moment to check if the user has right to change the state of
check box and then to allow it or cancel it. I've tried with "before update"
event procedure. It seems to work but after, when I press anything else on
the form event procedure is repeating?
Any help?

One addition:
The problem occurs (repeating) when Cancel = True was applied previosly.

Outlook should be able to email MS CRM advanced find queries (grouThe only way to e-mail a group in MS-CRM is to use the Quick Campaign

- attachments for emails are not possible

Outlook 2003 Contact dataJust starting using Outlook 2003.

How do I get rid of the one that appears blank, so only one contact file

memory being used was read at 1.46 GB! And if I close

Combo Box Value List/Query CriteriaHi Folks - I have a combo box with a value list of Option1, Option2 and ALL.

Add New Record Using Combo BoxI am using 2 different tables: Employee Info and Trip Details. I need to have a blank form open to enter new information, but I would like a combo box to choose the employees name, as there are over 300 employees. Ideally, the first name, last name, and DOB would be populated, but the rest of the information would still be blank to add new data. I could then just hit a button to open the form again to add information about a different employee. Outlook 2007 Missing MailI have an office where we are noticing that if we look in Vista Mail that MS
outlook 2007 has missed many emails. Program restarts and reboots don't seem

Is there a "helpful" little option in Outlook that prevents it from looking a

are there any similarities between the ones it misses?
