What type of account did you create? Did you migrate the account to live
mail or recreate it? HTTP accounts are no longer supported so you need to
either use POP3 or Live Mail (AFAIK).

Outlook 2000 password doesn't work... :-(
In Outlook 2000, I set a password for my personal folder ..pst file. But... this password is never asked for - I can start Outlook and go to the personal folder without having to enter this password. However, if I want to change the password, I DO HAVE TO enter the password, so Outlook somehow seems to know about this password. Strange... Is there some option or registry entry I have to change to "activate" password protection? Thanks for any hints! Thomas ...

Administrator/database password
I've asked our RMS partner multiple times for our database password, but they won't give it to me as they say it is a security risk. All I want to do is run a re-index and maybe 1 query or 2. Does anyone else think they are being unreasonable, I can't understand how accessing my own database is a security risk? Is there anyway that I can find out the password? Cheers Jetspeed, Yes, you should have your password. What happens if they were to go out of business? Get it now. If the won't give it to you, there is a routine to change it. If you have access to CustomerSo...

POS 1.2 missing admin password
Hi, I am a small business specialist. I just got a call from a client saying that after she installed and migrated MS POS 1.2 from her old computer to the new computer, she got some compatibility issues. She mentioned that she lost her admin password for the system, since I have no experience on POS 1.2, do you know where should I find out more in order to help this client? Thanks. Outlook 2010 & Hotmail connector
I recently installed the 2010 RTM version of Office and was told I needed to update the Outlook Connector for my hotmail account. I noticed after the update (version 14) that I'm getting the new message ding and desktop alert preview window for messages that arrive in my hotmail account (with exchange being my primary). This was not how it used to be and I'm wondering if there is a way to turn it off? I'm guessing the majority of people will like this feature but I don't need to be notified all the time mail comes into my secondary hotmail account. Thanks ...
