If I have public folders replicateing between 2 exchange 2003 systems and someone makes a change, which one is updated? The one they are connected to is the one that is updated. Users are connected to the one referred to in the properties of the Mailbox Store that houses their mailbox. Outlook 2003 in Windows 2000
A friend at work recently installed MS Outlook 2003 on his Windows 2000/NT by IT. A problem he has was that when he get email with urls on it, he has to close all his IE browsers that were already in use in order to click the url on his email. Outlook not updating.
Has anyone seen this on Outlook 2003... Terminal server connection to a server, open outlook 2003 in cache mode, now minimise the session. Outlook will not receive new messages automatically, I can see stuff is coming in by monitoring the mailbox from another location. open the session wait a few seconds and mail comes in then spam filter can do it's job.. (MS spam filter) Works OK if you are on the workstation / server directly...Works OK if you are not in cache mode. I use this to filter out spam before other users see what mail is there. Outlook 2007 Blank Messages
Within last couple of weeks, Hotmail is putting quite a few "safe senders" into junk mail. When I send/receive in Outlook, they appear in my junk mail as blank messages. When I mark as "not junk" in Outlook, they move into Inbox but as blanks. When I mark them as "not junk" in Hotmail they move to Inbox ok. The senders are in the "safe" list on both Outlook and Hotmail. Hi, We are experiencing problems with the Outlook "online" client. Outlook 2007 starts up just fine and the CRM features seem to work well but when navigating subfolders of e.g. the Inbox the list of messages never loads. I am getting e-mails that are getting incorrectly detected as junk by the Junk E-mail filter. Although this filter (rule) is enabled, I have disabled all its means of detection and yet it still marks some e-mails as junk. I've pulled its teeth and it still can bite. I have recently upgraded my pc to windows 7 and have outlook 2003 installed with outlook connector. i have added the inboxes from the hotmail email accounts to the favourites pane, but when outlook is closed and then re-opended the inboxes are no longer there.
