Global Address List Issues. #2
Hello everyone. I have yet another question. This is a good one. I have set up a dummy Exchange account so that I could share the address book that belongs to it. This makes it so that I can have a company Contacts Database from which everyone in the company can e-mail from. This is the issue. When I am sending a new message, and I hit the To button, I want this list to come up as e-mail recipient options. Can this be done? If so, what is the best way to accomplish this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -- darylakagod

A public folder would be a better solution.
The process of adding another user's Contacts folder to your own address
book display is somewhat involved. You will need to be able to create -- at
least temporarily -- an Outlook profile that opens another user's mailbox as
the primary mailbox. Proceed with these steps while logged in under your own
Windows account, not the other user's:
1. Create an Outlook profile that connects directly to the other user's
mailbox, not your own, and start Outlook with that profile.
2. On the Properties dialog for the other user's Contacts folder, make sure
that it's set to display in the Outlook Address Book and give it a display
name other than contacts, such as Joe's Contacts.
3. Close Outlook.
4. In Control Panel | Mail, edit the *same profile* (i.e. the one from Step
1) to change the mailbox from the other user's to your own.
5. Still working with the same profile, on the Advanced tab of the Exchange
Server service, add the other user's mailbox as a secondary mailbox.
6. Restart Outlook, and you should see the Joe's Contacts in your Outlook
Address Book as well as your own Contacts folder.

Hi all, I have just started having a problem with creating a new exchange mailbox. I normally use AD users and computers to create a new user, and do this from the exchange server itself. Up till now I have had no problems with mailbox creation. Hi All, I've got a couple of things running on my network (namely some managment software and some ordering software) that can have XML handed to it to accomplish tasks. An example of this would be the ordering software: send a bit of XML to it and you can order goods etc. My question is: Can CRM be configured to send XML data to other applications? IT would be great to hit the ordering stage and have CRM generate XML to order the goods itself without a sales guy having to do it. CRM 1.2 go online with added activity
If I go online and add an activity, and then choose to go online, I get an error message for the activity that: "The Microsoft CRM Server is unavilable or could not be found" I leave the option of waiting to add the data next time I check in. However, after closing the message, the activity IS added to the CRM Server. If if go offline again, and dont make any changes, and choose to go back online, I then get a message that: "The specified domain logon name already exists. Exchange 2003 hotfix...OWA attachment issue
I need to know if the Exchange 2003 SP1 included the hotfix 838236 Post-RTM Rollup. According to the KB article it is included in the SP1 update, but if you look at the SP1 bug fixes, it never mentions this issue or the KB article. The issue is one others are also having, dealing with attachments not visible in OWA. From the sounds of the KB article 827637 it is the answer to this issue for us. But before we install it, we want to verify whether or not it was actually part of SP1 (which is already installed on our Exchange 2003server). Also, if anyone else has this problem and ca...

Is there any way to use a seach tool to search through completed activities on the history tab? We have converted Activities in from Goldmine and I am already on page 48 and still only now in the B's and you can guess how manu records there might be. There is no Find availble on any menu. I have an estimating form that we use for estimating service jobs. I entered a dropdown box at the very top to allow the user to select the correct customer. However, there are special pricing rates that pull from another sheet ('Special Rates') this sheet is in order by customer account number. Where a Contact has more than one email address, their name is repeated in the Address Book list but with nothing to distinguish between the two (or more) entries. List numbers and auto-formating of remaining document
I was happy to find that Word will add a numbered list after I start it but not so happy that when I change back to non-list typing my margins, tabs, etc. change. Can't seem to find where to turn off this automation. It appears that at one point I did somehow turn it off but also lost my automated list function. When I click on a folder, alot of times I get the windows installer come up saying it's installing a feature, it takes a little while but it finishes. Where a Contact has more than one email address, their name is repeated in the Address Book list but with nothing to distinguish between the two (or more) entries. I have tried setting up different display names for the different email addresses but it made no difference. List numbers and auto-formating of remaining document
I was happy to find that Word will add a numbered list after I start it but not so happy that when I change back to non-list typing my margins, tabs, etc. change. Can't seem to find where to turn off this automation. It appears that at one point I did somehow turn it off but also lost my automated list function. When I eventually (somehow) got my ability to automatically create a numbered list back that margin changes, etc. returned also.
