exchange enterprise storage limit
I heard that there is an unlimited storage limit for exchange enterprise
2003. Is this true? If so, can I "Actually" have an exchange message
store 60 gb or more?
Would there be any performance issues?
Correct, unlimited database size.
FYI: Exchange 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 2 will increase the
database limit to 74GB from 16GB.

I have a user using Outlook 2000 on a Win2000 based
computer. We are running Exchange server 5.5. All
patches and fixes are current on the Exchange server, OS,
and Office. Messages come into the inbox and then
magically disappear. I have turned off archiving, and
syncing with the .pst file but no help. I have recreated
the profile but again no hlep. This happens almost daily,
sometimes more than once per day.

Hi, I am working with .PST files to extract contents(programatically
using VB.NET) like sender's e-mail, the date and time sent etc from
each of the individual E-Mails. I also want to extract sender's IP
address from each of the E-Mail in .PST file. I know there is entry of
the IP address in the SMTP header, but don't know how to extract it or
access the header programatically. Can someone please tell me how to do
it? Or is there any property of MailItem Object to achieve this?

I want to be able to delete expired (and/or invoiced) customer service

Has anybody done this and are there any gotchas??

There are many records like these which don't permit

Check DNS. Where is your internal DNS installed? It could be that Exchange

having a problem finding the GC via your DNS server.

The reason i ask is we are using a network device which compresses network
traffic, however it is only effective on uncompressed data, if data is
already compressed it has little affect.
Exchange will use MAPI compression and Buffer packing with an Outlook

I have outlook XP on win2k, and my deleted items folder is being
filled by "synchronization log" messages at the rate of 1 per minute.
They appear to be simply a log (no problems indicated). Here's a sample from the log...

Where is a setting in outlook where I can disable this?
Tools->Send Receive. Set your offline folders to only sync on exit.
